    speed cams have radar that detects speed, and when it shows someone going to fast, only then does the camera take a picture. no big brother there then. you can simply opt out by not driving too fast.

    speed traps have exactly zero to do with cameras in cities. cameras capture EVERYONE, speed cameras only catch offenders (and the occasional false positive, which is easily taken care of through appeals)

    aboslutely right. cruise control is good. just set it on the top speed, and not only will you get better fuel consumtion, you will get less fines.

    just don't speed. it's not that hard. speeding causes an unnecessary amount of exhaust fumes, which costs lives. just don't, there is no excuse to speed.

    I vastly prefer the person coming to me. I can pay no attention to them and mumble something about being busy, and come back in an hour. this does not work with a phone: you HAVE to pick it up, or it'll keep ringing. Phones bust in without looking, a person coming to see you can see that you're busy.

    yeah, I don't like telephones...

    and not even for everyone. in many countries, downloading music and movies is 100% legal, so it's not piracy or infringement. it's downloading, and there's nothing wrong with it.

    I started seeing too many google ads. the sheer volume forces me to protect myself from them. since 2 weeks, adsense is blocked too. as soon as advertising gets annoying, it gets blocked.

    Spamblocks are not the problem, they are an attempted solution that is not perfect. the real problem is spam itself. spam has made email from a reliable medium into a marketing tool, used to force advertising on us at our own expense.

    all the mentioned methods of obtaining music are fully legal in the Netherlands.

    unfortunately, you are not allowed to share your music over the net. you are allowed to lend a CD(original or not) to a friend, who is allowed to copy it.

    although sharing your lollipop with the dog can be bad for kid and dog (no, I don't know if either actrually is bad) I'm pretty sure the distributor of the lollipop, i.e. the lollipop-shop will not complain about theft by either the dog or the kid.
