It just occurred to me how many asses might read/. and think it applies to them. No! GameCube's code is sealed tighter than a drum- dooming it to obsolescence
Port a BSD for God's sake. Or strike a deal with qnx or something. Maybe even "Inferno" from Plan 9. If not, just stop posting to slashdot! We don't need your stinkin hardware if Nintendo is gonna cross her legs and refuse to let GameCube cherry be popped!
Goddamit 16 better stay the age of consent. After all, if the girl can drive a car...
Also, who needs to re-live the realities of menial jobs and real life disillusionment? I live on a dead-end street which connects to another street with two dead ends at one end. Twin Circle Drive forms a 'T' There are six houses along the top and four more on both sides of the slope uphill. Here in New England, I would not be surprised to hear of streets with three or four dead-ends. Worcester, MA better known to natives as Woostah, has a Main street that ends in a dead end near the city center. You just have to love Yankee city planning! And, uh you can Wardrive there, too. I'm still on-topic, right?
You need training for windows XP, configuring the machines to work with "interoperably" with XP costs money. You're not talking about Linux vs Win98, its WinNT (5.x) There's a lot of money to be spent and even more to be wasted. Being a resident, I'm sure that's what we'll end up doing, spending ten times what we should for "upgrading"
I was under the impression that attorney-client privilege is between the attorney and the client, not every employee in the company. The rest of what you say may be perfectly true, but I'm sure it comes under some other category.
I used to agree before my wife left me. Which she did in part because I wasn't bringing in enough money and she didn't have the Career she wanted. Wives (and by default, children) are only good for 4-8 years. Nowadays jobs are too, but no workplace blackmailed me for alimony
for the sake of you're family and cared ones, try to make it look like an accident. And be prepared to face institutionalization, where you'll meet people who've made suicide attempts a hobby, and think and feel just like you:)
Geez, and what are you, exactly? I hope this guy/kid doesn't live in you're neighborhood or workplace. Maybe you should watch the news and give your family members a call.
You will only feel successful when you make other people successful... and help spread God's Word. Just send in a small portion to me at regular intervals, and you will indeed be successful! ; )
I can't imagine who you're talking about. Government programs usually end up wasted, or supporting other government programs. The world is driven by ego, not money alone.
You've criticized my Ellen Feiss reference(EF 4eva) but you quote LA punk songs from the early eighties, from a band that became hip-hop, before breaking up. I smite you in the name of Feiss!
...and researchers for the Bush White House have determined that in such an event, the American economy will be able to withstand and recover from such an event ; ) .
There has actually been "serious" research on how the American economy will react to climate changes predicted by some models of "Global Warming" So buy some sunscreen and smile, America!
This reminds me of geeky factiod. Jules Verne wrote "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" but a league is about 3.45 miles, making the setting 69,000 nautical miles under the sea! "League" is inappropriate anyways, because ocean depth is measured differently than nautical distance.
"two things: Does it do the job I require of it, and does it do it well?"
In every engineering project there's cost.
You can choose two of the three:
Better, Faster, Cheaper.
You may have forgotten this, but the accountants won't
The suggestiveness of S&M in the term "mistress Gene" is entirely appropriate, I might add.
A gene that tells all others what to do should definitely be feminine-

Isn't "Too much overkill" as redundant in Japanese as it is in English? Does all Sony base belong to Nintendo, I think?

Sampling old music. What a concept! I'll get on it right away

"Damn, I should've fucked him when I had the chance!" comes to mind

give me a break! You should be sharing this somewhere else, anyway.

There is a great funny poem by Anne Sexton (or is it Sylvia Plath?) about the inconveniences of different methods. Give it some thought.
Success is...staying out of the psychiatric ward. Hahahaha
