And when you do have to call, they should stop acting like their customers are criminals. I got a bad disk from EA a while back; and when I called to report it, they accused me of damaging the disk myself. I had to send a picture of the disk to show that there was no physical damage before they reluctantly sent me a new one. Since then, I avoid EA games.
Somehow I can actually imagine a 64-bit user going out and buying something they know will not work with their "special" Windows version. 64-bit geeks are the whiniest geeks of all and seem to live to patrol the world looking for places where they've been excluded and victimized.
And before any 64-bit victims shout bias, I don't have (or desire) an iPhone and am OS neutral. I'm not, however, neutral on crybabies.
I can't believe that someone who actually believes that the real unemployment rate is 4.5% is calling anyone an idiot! I'll bet you believe the inflation numbers, too, even after they are softened by removing the true causes of inflation. Stop drinking the Kool-Aid an take a look at the way the numbers are constantly adjusted, redefined, and re-interpreted. You're falling victim to a smokescreen.
" There are no solid conclusions among all scientist"
Uh-huh. This is how the wacko right pulls this off: they get a few of their idiot minions with online Ph.D.s (or some isolated rejects from the tenure pool) to call themselves scientists. Then they completely ignore scientific method and start polluting the scientific pool with untestable hypotheses. Soon, it's difficult to get a consensus "among all scientist" because a percentage of them are not even legit scientists.
"Even if Google eventually dies..."
Ha! Been listening to Bill G again, huh. IT's a hard habit to break, but you can do it. Try attending a Softies Anonymous meeting. There are sure to be several in your area. Until them, remember Step One of the program: "I am powerless over Microsoft and my Windows are unmanageable.
Fortunately, one person not liking a product won't kill a company. How many people out there object to Microsoft products? Ironically, some of them even have the same reason(s) you have for not liking Google? So, I guess we'll see who goes first. Then again, Ballmer is full of shit (as usual) and all three companies will likely be around a lot longer than 5 years (providing MS gets some of the geezers out of management).
It sure would be nice if Ballmer and Gates would stop applying for psychic work and instead start working on a little innovation of their own. Microsoft is beginning to smell like the rotting company that these two want to envision everyone else becoming. Google works because they listen to what people want, and Apple does the same. Microsoft tells their customers what to want, and that model is doomed to fail long before the others.
They found a new species just last week in New York City. The bronxus giganticus was spotted driving a subway train in uniform. Reports that it ate the human driver are so far unconfirmed, but the train was on time for the rest of the afternoon.
"The politicians love to screw us." Sounds like Dad is thinking straighter than most of us.
Oh cool, I've been looking for a ball washer!

"New York Times story" Okay, done reading. Thanks.
LMAO! I can't tell if that was a joke or a rant, but either way, it was funny. Mod up!
Ain't it great when the mod proves the point!?

All Hail the Great FSM!
As if the crap wasn't canned enough already!
...spreading FUD. Some things NEVER change!
Sounds to me like he is just asking to be acquired by Amazon.
Oh, almost forgot; they have almost no original thoughts, preferring to copy from others. :o)

Snacks will include pie and, hopefully, pretzels.

Very funny!!! I wish I had a mod point to give you!

...will no doubt bless this move by one of their own.
I thought radio listening was on the decline due to the virus of the airways...the ClearChannel monopoly.
No doubt TigerDirect will now appeal to the Dutch courts.
