I'm not sure how you can compare a retail bundle and a preorder eBay auction for just a console. Sure they're going for about the same price... but what exactly does that say? The console itself should still be $250 from said retailer - which STILL leaves the mentioned $450 for "other stuff" that is yet to be named - when compared to eBay.
Perhaps it's "mind-boggling" because no one has the slightest clue what is actually included in the random $450 extra items.
Only if there's some possible agreement that by opening the case you're agreeing to accept any other bonus content/discs provided within. And if you choose not to accept said content, you can return the unopened/unused bonus content for a refund.
So would that then mean that you not only have to pay the $15/mo for the "transmission" of it... but then also purchase the actual song from one of said stores? So isn't that TWICE as not-free as it's stated?
And no, I didn't RTFA... just going by these replies.
For about the 50th time on the page, the "non-transferable" part refers to a one time use link. So people can't just share a direct link to download the song. It's good for that user, with that purchase and that's it.
Well I think the idea would be more for browsing the iTMS via wifi and purchasing songs. Of course having the ability for a wifi sync might still come in handy if you just added a few songs to your library and don't have your dock handy for a connection.
Though syncing an entire collection may be extremely time consuming, I bet some people would be just fine with letting it get started before bed or something. Should be done by morning right? If not, it's their own fault for not using a cable...
Ya, it may actually make me more interested in voting if there were something almost fun about it. At least, more interested than I am now... which is not at all. Sorry.
It could be November Madness (or a suitable word that starts with N)... and you could win points in a pool for picking people that win their elections.
Some acutions have already gone north of $1000 USD.
No they haven't.
The linked auction search only shows LISTED auctions for the PS3. The starting bids for a couple are $1000 or more. NONE of them (as of this post) have any bids.
You should add a condition that she would actually have to go out with you for some length of time in order for someone to get the $1000. Because someone might FIND you the perfect g/f, but there's no telling if she'd have anything to do with you or not.
Certainly if it were based off of current listed ages in Myspace, the vast majority of users would be 90-100 yrs old and closely followed by 14 and 15 yr olds*.
The former are usually the actual 14 and 15 yr olds, lying about their age to not have a private profile. And the later of the above are often the older audience lying about their age to HAVE a private profile. Many of which don't realize anyone can choose to be private now (previously only underage users).
Go figure.
* this does not include Music accounts - which are by default, over 100 yrs old.
Check out this IGN review... they go into a little bit about the similarities between this and the real thing and that it's really not a bad changeover.
That was pretty much my experience a few weeks ago. I kept hearing about this game but didn't know much about it and hadn't bought a PS2 game in quite some time (years?). I was in a Best Buy and thought "what the hell... it'll look ridiculous, but i have to try it out."
By far the most fun I've had playing a video game as long as I can remember. I must have played there for like 20 min to a half hour, just in a trance. I put down the guitar and picked up the box and went to the register. I was sold.
Exactly... why does the joy of owning a physical attachment have to mean that they are buying specifically vinyl? I certainly won't be buying any vinyl anytime soon - buy I'll buy a CD if the music is worth it - for the reason of having something physical and a collection.
They, Minolta-Konica, Canon, Kyocera, Mita, and others are perpetuating the paper-ful office.
But wouldn't this help to reduce the amount of paper actually used? I mean if you can print on paper multiple times, that's quite a bit of savings. 50 printed emails a week suddenly becomes only 20 sheets of paper. Or maybe less!
Now where problems might arise... how many times could a sheet be used? How much more expensive will it be than normal paper? Will that price be worth the usability of this in place of just more plain paper?

Ya. The bundle is a PS3 and a demo disc.

Do you think that explains why old people move to Florida? They're all trying to go where it's warm to hurry up and die?

It's not a zero calorie drink though. They have 5 calories per can.
To keep this a bit on topic...
"Wait a minute! Supposing two swallows carried it together?"
Actually, I think they ran off with the server. I can get the second video, but not the one of them "in action."
Ya, but if Apple does it, it'll likely be a nicer integration and not take "forever."
Same here. Had no idea... but now that I've heard of it (thanks to Jack) and seen some footage and reviews, I want it and will probably get it.
Thanks for the heads up Jack!
Someone has already had a hands on review of the game... Dear ole Jack won't be the first.

If he were, I think it would be aboot anyways...
