The government has no right to access this incorrectly and even illegally collected data. Google has confessed their mistake, now they should delete that data and receive the punishment for their actions. If Google doesn't agree with the verdict, then they can choose to use the data to help their case, and not the other way around (where the Government uses the data to make their case.)
Pretty much all games I play these days are single player. I lost interest in multiplayer games quite some years ago. So, some other company will get my money instead of EA.
The best part of singleplayer games is that the experience doesn't depend on the presence of others.
There's a difference between website search result and inline information from other google services.
The first search result for GOOG yahoo finance, but the first thing shown, before the search results, is google's finance data (as if you were searching via google finance).
"World map", "map of the usa", "shopping", no top places for google.
"6*9" gives "54", but no webpage results... OMG HAX
I've been using virtual money ever since I was able to pay for this directly from my back account without the need to convert it to real money first. Of course instead of using a new name and symbol thingy my bank simply used the same name and symbol as the real money, and applied a 1:1 conversion ratio.
I think they they meant a different snake, I think it was a trouser snake. But you can also fallback to jewelery, perl and ruby spring to mind. Otherwise you can try your luck over a hot cup of java.
To expand on my own post, building things because you like the build things still isn't an answer to why you decided to build that thing, you could have made some other thing. Why did he decide to "build" facebook, and not youtube, or flickr.
Yes, I understand that people build things because they like building things (I'm one of those). But the question is why did he, Zuckerberg, create facebooks. Because there is no evidence that shows that he actually built anything, it was all made by others. Sure, he made some drawings on a napkin of something that sort of resembles facebook. But calling that building facebook is just ludicrous.
I'd be shocked if an other product better supported MS' proprietry format than MS' products. Yes, MS Office is better in supporting MS Office macros. But OpenOffice is better in supporting OpenOffice macros.
For all we know the publisher made him a worse writing due to shaping him to the image the publisher set out for him.
Editing works both ways, and considering we only observe the end result and cannot redo the process to the observe the other possible result the argument that the publisher made him a better writer is moot.
TweetDeck for the iPhone crashes way too often (about once a day on averahge), and for that there are only a handful of different versions. So TweetDeck for Android must be real garbage.
Thanks to the Ribbon interface I spend much more time in the Microsoft Office products. It has never been easier to search for the tools that I've been using for over 10 years thanks to the new Ribbon interface. I just keep selecting tabs until I find the thing I was looking for. And it only took me half an hour to figure out what the Office Button was and that it was hiding operations like save as and print preview.
People always say that with widescreen movies you will see more (horizontally). But I think that widescreen movies actually show that "we" suck in producing vertically interesting content.
An other often used excuse that widescreen is better is because people naturally see in widescreen. Which is bullshit. The eyes point in the same direction and are not that far apart. So the active focal area is much more square shaped.
Android (on Tegra 2 based systems) is also being targeted by Epic. It just doesn't get as much attention (nor is there a public tech demo). But you can find a bunch of videos on youtube.
It's not (always) bribery, but just a PR stunt. They don't do these things for better review scores, but for media attention. Serious, what good is "rancid, rotting meat mixed with spent shell casings, teeth, broken glasses and dog tags" or "brass knuckles"? If it's not cash, or some other thing they can cash in then it's not really bribery.

Did you just publish a deer?
Oh look, a million dollars!
Where did you read that the application was collecting donations?
TFA only mentions that the author donates $1 to wikileaks for every sale.

Not everybody is an USA citizen. WikiLeaks doesn't exist for just the USA citizens.
Misread the title, I thought it was some cool add-on for Fallout.
And elephants.

Win or lose, either way you'll earn money.
That's a bit like saying air is the most commonly inhaled gas when people watch pirated content.
Holy crap, terrorist also depend on air. Therefor pirates must be terrorists.

RT @Culture20 good point #ack
Otherwise the acknowledgment isn't acknowledged, and thus ignored. Now somebody has to ack me, otherwise ... etc.

Where? These things are really hard to find.

They have an one-off error in their math, it's actually 9 times a 6 core CPU. So, at 42 cores a rewrite is needed.
