It great that it's possible to do it several ways but imagine explaining it to somebody over the telephone. Your explanation versus; dude, just say yes when it explicitly asks you if you want to install Shockwave.
Damn, who would have thought that installing Flash could be that easy. Just type in a 80 char command and voila you have Flash installed. I wonder why everybody hasn't switched to Linux yet:D
Yes, it has Linux so it's super cool and nothing else has preceded it. It's a brand new concept and did I mention it's based on Linux. Wuhu, it's Linux so it must rule everything!
But that is just a plain idiotic dream. Microsoft will never go open source because it disables them to sell their products. Why pay for a product when you can download it for free. Pointless story and a waste of time if you ask me and now I'll probably be modded as troll.
It's ridiculous to say that Canada own Hans Island simply because of the name. Hans is a classic danish name. I'd see why Canada should have the island if it was named Johns Island, Gilbert Island, etc. because those aren't danish.
You're right. Star Wars episode 3 was very boring and childish. Lars von Trier has produced better films, like Dogville, on a low budget. A good film is not about the special effects but the story. Star Wars caved in at the last episode.
Having virtually no experience with FreeBSD I fail to see the ease in creating a disc label by reading a 100+ KB documentation. Hate to say it but FreeBSD will never be mainstream, i.e. be popular, with those kind of assumptions. Hope someone in the community will finally take notice instead of babbling on how fine FreeBSD is.
Call it whatever you like but normal mode still produce an incorrect result so why no just calculate the scientific way? I'm sure current computers can handle it without any noticeable delay.
Another funny thing about Windows is the calculator. Try to calculate 1+2*3 in standard mode and the repeat the process in scientific mode. Different results:)
Is it me or is the standard Windows search utterly useless? Searching for text in files *never* return results even though I'm sure the text exist. That's why I've switches to Agent Ransack that does the job right. I'll bet this new super search enginge is nothing more than a fix to the pointless search tool in Explorer.

Give me mod points to mod this dude up!
Very old Slashdot story. Read more @ http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=05/06/27/ 2129214&from=rss
Now I have somebody to play catch with :)

I would be kind of nice to have a mile versus kilometer poll.
From what I've read here on Slashdot, Linux is super stable. *Gosh* could that be a fantasy? Bring on the flame mods!

Well, you couldn't run cutting edge games on a Mac.
I compared the quality of work of Lars von Trier to Geroge Lucas. What's your opinion though?

I wonder when Windows built on .Net is released?
...or Gord Bowman?
Could Gord be http://slashdot.org/~Gord I wonder.
OMFG you're right :) Hope you all get my point anyhow :)

You forgot the TI-82 :) I'm no math genius but I just like that the chances for errors are reduced.

Sorry to sound obnoxious but that is just plain Microsoft stupidity. If I specify no files types then I'd expect it to search all files. Geesh!

Simple answer is no as posted above. But there might be a market for people with sight to have one of these robots acting as shopping servant.
What I'd like to see is a Linux distribution centered around Wine so we all get the best of two worlds for gratis.
