    Creatine's just an amino acid.

    Not one of the vital ones to life: ie, if you don't have it, your protiens will not all mis-fold / you will not degenerate into a corpse.

    Having WAYYY too much Creatine will help fuel bacterial growth & whatnot. Still, Creatine is a neat fuel, the body likes having it in muscle to fuel short-term bursts of energy.

    I had already gotten myself a copy of the Bone Jackal's CDs.

    Bah.

    For those who didn't know, they did all of the music for Full Throttle... Thanks to the game, I have to say I liked some songs more without the lyrics, but the first song in the credits rules. I forget what it's called, but I think it was track 4. So does "We Want our Brothers Back".

    For best results, use a good brand's PSU. Not the latest "XXX Watt" from No-NameBrand

    Incidentally, you get what you pay for.

    We are hard on the US patent office here @ /. It's nice to know that they issue patents for things that rightfully deserve patenting too.

    I'm a linux n00b, and unfotunately, won't have anything other than a dual boot wXP/SuSe box up at school this coming year. Is there an easy way to force my MAC address to something specific in windows? I've got a utility that makes it easy for me in Linux. Just figured I'd ask : )

    It's not unfair, it's just less impressive to me, because the downward part of the vector counts.

    Mind you, now having RTFA, and seeing his setup more discripively, it's even less impressive still, because he was "gliding" in very much the way others have posted.

    Much credit to him, for finding something that hadn't been done, and doing it, but it's still more fun for me to imagine him bouncing across a field. : )

    Diagonally that's a good bit less impressive. Anyone know what Terminal Velocity in freefall is offhand?

    Actually, and probably due to it being Thursday, that thought hadn't crossed my mind.

    And you know what they say: "If at first you don't succeed, skydiving might not be for you."

    He must have accelerated slowly.

    14 minutes is ~0.23 hours. 360km/h * .23h == 82.8km

    What interests me, is how he managed to accelerate up to the 360 kph mark, and slow back down, without the sharp sudden stop that I associate with skydiving. (C'mon you know you saw him bouncing along a field until he smacked into an old hardwood)

    I play the firearmsmod for halflife... and I clan with [PoP]. While I admit we're nowhere near a group of average on-line gamers (Average Age is 30.5 I believe) we do have a husband wife team playing shoot-em ups.

    But, men, note this lesson well. Not only do women camp incredibly well, they're much better at gloating than we are. : )

    FAMod tends to be about territorial control, so camping isn't quite what it is in some mods... go, read up, /. Firearmsmod.com

    Fair enough, didn't know you had such a personal stake in it. I'd still take the problems listed of the wind/solar/X power over current soloutions... But then again, I don't really mind nuclear power either. $Comment_About_Growing_Up_Near_One_Here. I did grow up near a Nuke plant, and the cheap energy was *wonderful*. Ah well, guess I'm just weird : )
