Exactly, and if you ever move, you won't have to hire a team of people to uninstall/reinstall that beast. You can unscrew your projector from the mount in the ceiling, unplug it, throw it in it's little 2'x2' case and carry it to the new place easy as can be.

The way I see it, if you want a big TV you can't beat a projector, I don't see any reason to spend 10 grand on a 65" HDTV when you can buy a $1500 1200lumens HD Projector (if you even spend that much) that can blast anything from a 20"-110" image. You could also save a lot of space whether you use a roll up screen or just the wall itself.

All that being said, the next time I need to buy a TV I'm getting a projector.

One other thing, I'm not a WoW player, but I have played games of the like before. In the games I used to play, people would level at different rates. Like you could use a character that levels at a much faster rate, to reroll to the same level of a different (much slower advancing) class. So you'd have to account for that, maybe just reroll to half the current experience, that may be a better compromise I'd think. That way you still get smacked for doing it and lose half of your experience, but you still don't have to start from nothing.

These cops asked him to get up and walk out for -3 minutes- with him constantly bitching and crying and telling them to fuck off. Had the kid shown some sign of cooperation and not made a scene I'm sure it would have ended differently.

This is the first I'd heard of a CD/DVD hybrid, which sounds like it could be the worst of both worlds (and has been for some people). Since they make dual-disk holders, you would think they would have just put in two disks, one DVD and one CD. I just bought a Japanese enka album that did that, and both work just fine.

I've really never liked dual sided discs at all... not even for the 16:9/4:3 DVDs that they have out... Then you have to worry about -2- sides of a disc that can be scratched or dirty or smudged... I like having the picture on one side to at least give it -some- protection.. And like you said, with dual disc cases readily available, what's the point?

that's overly simplistic (and i'm being overly polite). domestic violence has a dramatically different character than a pub or street brawl.

You hit a lot of good points.. I was thinking that, at least in a bar fight you've generally got 2 willing participants who know why they want to fight. Domestic abuse you've got an abuser who's pissed off for some totally unrelated reason to the victim, who takes it out on said victim. I'd gladly take a -large- increase in public violence if it lead to a relatively small decrease in domestic violence (if it could be proven that the drop in domestic violence was due to the increase in public violence, after all, a guy could get his ass kicked then go home and take it out on his s/o which would just increase the domestic abuse as well)

Fights happen, usually between two people who are pissed at one another, spousal and child abuse are just inexcusable...(sp)

public violence is much more amenable to a wide range of solutions

Another good point.. a bar fight is generally chock full of willing witnesses, a frail little kid is going to be absolutely terrified to come forward for fear of a -worse- beating than before..

emusic used to be great... unlimited downloads for 10 bucks a month. plus you could browse the catalog without an account... they've really gone downhill. I don't use them anymore, however when I did they were -great- if you were looking for punk or jazz. I don't remember finding 'hot new releases' or anything, unless it was an Epitaph label band. They seemed to really stay on top of things, new Bad Religion or Pennywise albums were out on emusic at the same time they were out in the stores. Not sure for the Jazz, because I just got old stuff there.. But yeah, emusic used to be great for that stuff, I agree with you now though.. Create an account just to see if they have anything at all you'd even bother looking at? That just sounds like a company that knows they have piss poor selection and wants to get you in the door before telling you..

It had a nice front opening panel, made it easy to change boards.

I think we may have the same type of panel... on mine you drop the joysticks, pull out a couple pins then pull the joysticks up and out, then the long board they're attached to rests comfortably horizontal sticking out the front of the machine and has the PCB attached to that... I was -so- happy to score this cabinet when I found out how easy it was to maintain.
