"The Y2K Bug" is a basically a media hoax. How many people in this world have died to "The Y2K Bug"? None? You have a better chance of dying in a swimming pool, driving a car, riding a bike, or being struck by lightening. Seriously, you are far more likely to be eaten by a shark then killed by "The Y2K Bug".
etc. You get the picture.
Reduce $150 per month? What the hell do you guys in america use that much power for? Either your power is expensive, or you've got to be throwing it away.
$150 per month! That's frightening.
Or they could cross compile what they have by linking it with wine and having a lot less work, although they'd have to patch it in order to have a better integrating solution.
err, slight mistake. The GPL can be applied to public domain software, since you can do whatever you want with public domain. Say, you can pick up SQLite and include it in the middle of whatever application you want.
(I don't know why he didn't even want a license that credited him...)
AFAIK... There are either enemy combatants or civilians. I don't think there's a third way.
If I AM wrong... There's still no excuse to treat human beings like that, and very good reasons to treat enemies along the spirit of the convention.
not really.
it only UPGRADES starforce if you actually already have it. Otherwise, it doesn't install anything.
use the web, luke. maybe the daemon tools forums
no one will read this, but... the official way is something along the lines of ubuntu-update -d or whatever the application name is. just type ubuntu and press tab.
For someone who wishes to end the killings, they sure don't act on it. It's not that Hezbollah is right, it's that Israel is a democratic country that should be held to high standards. Or at least to stop pretending to be innocent.
"Help Israel: (somewhat) better then the alternative" seems a lousy defense.
Awesome! Some of them manage to take less than 20 seconds to load! What an improvement!
Not to mention that most take half the time when I click a link. What a concept. And thy're more than happy to play their crappy music over whatever I'm listening.
I for one welcome our web 3.0 overlords.

17"? right... not that they're expensive anymore, but sorry, don't have one. besides, on my pc i want to read text, so i need more definition. i was repiting what Alex Lindsay said in Twit and This week in media, and from his way of talking about broadcast, i'm pretty sure he knows a lot. still, yes, it's a personal opinion, but i don't think people really want to pay for the previlege of watching crap in higher resolution. to each his own, i probably shouldn't have replied to you yesterday:)
$380 is still a crap load of money in a lot of places (plus, without rebates and weird promotions like in the US). And from what I've heard, for screens smaller than 30", there isn't much of a point in HD.
Portugal is not as bad, though. The other parties still have a good amount of pressure. Not as much as in the Netherlands, though. I don't know if i'd call them corrupt or mainly incompetent. One thing is for sure, campaign contributions are forbidden by law.
Hi Doc, long time fan... a question from someone who only knows basic physics, but wouldn't messing with the moon also not be a very good idea? or it's completly impossible for the effect to not even alter an inch in tides?
while i like what you said, be carefull. here in portugal, the interior has a crap amount of votes. it's mostly deserted by now, which makes the largest district in the country have a paltry 3 deputies in the parliement. stupidly enough, it's also the agricultural part. since every party completly disregards those 3 votes (it always goes to the communist party, and it would cost a lot to move 33% of people another way in almost deserted cities), that part of the country is more and more a true desert (apart from the green spots). so, no, i don't think dividing representitives by population works.
They do. This article is not a review, though. If you check the actual review here, you can see for yourself.
And, you can still use your key on the downloadable version.
(May have changed by now, but I doubt it)

tsk, you're forgetting the lesson of your current government... The obvious is the center, the secret is to shift it with lies.
KNetworkManager works flawlessly, at least. I don't know about nm-applet

that makes total sense, thank you for taking the time to write it. it didn't have to be so through, it was just pure speculation.
thanks.

you don't miss much, from what i recall. BG1 doesn't have much of a story.
