At work I got a C3PO error while doing something in GroupWise 6.
Meh.
A friend of mine once had an Apple II go retarded. Letters kept getting switched and random lines were appearing. By chance the message ended up saying "Please insert another biskette"
yum
The 1996 Nobel Prize in physics went to the discovery of the superfluidity of helium-3. In the process of doing this they chilled helium-3 to temperatures only one thousandth of a degree from absolute zero.
BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Yeah you are right, I am too young to know what key disks are/were. Although a quick search on google revealed many ways to get around them. I gather that they stop you from copying 1.44mb floppies?
meh
Yeah, the question was just like who was exiled for their views blah blah blah.
Sorry no Plato now. My high school is all about books like The Joy Luck Club. On my own outside of class I am finishing reading 1984. Maybe I'll try some Plato next:)
Or did you just mean books about Plato?
That's hilarious I mixed up that answer, your signature, with Plato on a quiz today at school.
LOL!
Slashdot is helpful on so many levels!

Accurate OCR?

I thought the 99% accurate OCR technology my new scanner's box was advertising would be great. After it came home and was installed I realized what that really meant. 1 out of 100 characters was wrong. With the documents I was intending to OCR, that were really long, well,. I got sad.....
I really don't listen to music that much. However, I talked to my music junkie friends with their 200 plus cd's. And even now after I installed both a cdrw drive and broadband for them- they still say that they buy more cd's than they download music on the internet, and even if they get the entire album online they still buy it. I asked why and they couldn't tell me....
I wonder if it is like this for the majority of people?
Uhuh. As if some crazy scientists started counting the atoms and figured out how many their were...
Scientists know how many atoms there are roughly by using estimation.
PS Obotics you still owe me a dollar for that source code...... :
Maybe one day the blinky lights could be put into pixels and then a type of visual pop up error message.
On second thought morse code is much more fun!
