    I'm curious as to why BBC programs shown on PBS are not censored? I see nude pictures of women on Rod and Dellboy's wall all the time. They also get away with saying "shit". And "feck" (Father Ted) is pretty racy I guess as well.

    I wonder about the logistics of two orbiters being tracked. I'm sure NASA has some pretty fine software, but I don't know if it was ever designed to work with two orbiters in flight. For example if both shuttles use the same frequencies for telemetry the software may not have a way to tell which one it is speaking to. What if they had to cut power to Columbia while Atlantis was enroute to prevent interference? There are many questions like this that would have to have been asked and answered before they could send up another shuttle.

    It is a tech support department. All customers get a summary e-mail with their support call or an e-mail if we need to call them back and can't get through.

    My group alone generates hundreds of e-mails to people outside our domain every day. I'm sure they whole company easily exceeds the 8000 mark mentioned here.

    Someone brought in a current meter in my computer hardware class. A p-133 PC with HD, Nic, vga, CD, and floppy drew 40 watts. Throw in a 14" crt monitor and it drew nearly 175 watts. So a normal PC wouldn't be that bad, just go to a LCD display.

    This sounds very Douglas Adams to me. It goes something like this. God exists on faith. Proving that he exists will only negate the need for faith, and thereby, God disappears in a puff of logic. (I know that is nowhere near the exact phrasing, but you get the idea)

    I hate having to install it every time I get a new job. I don't know if it has spyware, but it sure feels like it. There's so much crap that comes hanging on to it (I think the last time I loaded it, it put some AOL things on the computer)
