Microsoft was by far the largest corporate donor to political campaigns
Funny you say that, I've seen these little pamphlets all over our building that say "MSPAC" Microsoft Political Action Committee. "Your voice in the goverment" hehe
As a Texas resident, I'm glad to see this. If we can convince Governor Rick Perry (R) to extend this into more state agencies. I'll be extremely pleased.
Since their leader has been caught they are going to try and free him by attacking more often. This events as the potenial to kill more soldiers. br>I'm sure he was quickly whisked away out of the country soon after his capture.
Yes, it works in VMware. It correctly detects the PCnet32 network card in vmware but not the video card. You have to do a text install (abort the x configuration) otherwise it will come up at 640x480 and the dialog boxes will be off the screen. Then use XFree86 to select the vmware video card. Other drivers are here:
Network drivers
Solaris should autodetect the video in Microsoft Virtual PC because it uses an S3 TRIO32/64 chipset, but it uses a Tulip network chip, so you'll need the nic drivers above.
It stands for Continental not Cruise.:) You could make a cruise missile that is not Intercontinental. Lets go blow up Utah rather than lets go blow up Nicaragua.
Yes I remember reading that you could put different roms in the SE/30 to add color support even though the video on board did not use it. Also IIRC there were color video cards that could run an external monitor.
Ahem... PeoplePC does this

Do you mean that people don't use line printers any more???!!? Back in the good old days, (not really) we'd have the computer print the diffs of any files that ever changed on the system in real time!
I recommend this stuff all day long at MS. It solves most all Windows issues oddly enough. It costs us money to take calls so I take pride in hitting them back by uninstalling it!
Search for anything remotely computer related and they have an ad for it. For example: Vax - Cheaper Prices

Our call center is in Bangalore just like the Dell one. The company that runs it is called Convergys. I went to their website and they are "proud to be an ethnically diverse company" I guess that means they have Hindus, Sikhs, and Muslims answering the phones.
It has been showing on the internal CCTV within Microsoft for a while. I saw it for the first time a few weeks ago but it reportedly has been around since the middle of the summer.

I suggest any other slashdotters that are not interested in this, to also reply with "REMOVE"
I think the network card is pcn0.
Yeah it basically crashes the system. I mention it because seeing things like killall httpd in shell scripts on linux.
Don't issue a killall command on Solaris. You won't like what it does. :)

Lets see how slashdot parses this.
My mistake, I was thinking it was just below the line. Ok lets say Argentina. I mean why did they make such a big stink over the Falklands anyway?
What do you think the C and M in ICBM stand for?

It needs a few more blinking lights and a pedantic voice, but it could be done!
I mentioned it because those are 3 major religions in the region.

I prefer "Mr. McBride goes to Brasilia" ala "Mr. Smith goes to Washington"
Just tell them "This is what sex looks like". Ok now here's the directions to the nearest monastery/convent.
