But that's ok, you're just another one of the sheep out there that's been conditioned to accept what you've been programmed to. It would almost be funny if it didn't have the impact on other people the way it does.

Solution? There is no easy solution that fits within the fucked up framework that we currently have. The big problem with a solution is that those in power wouldn't like it anyways since it would bring them into a more level playing field with the "common man". Maybe Star Trek has the right idea: do away with money completely. So what if the people who are only in it for the money quit. Fuck 'em.

"They should count themselves lucky that they get to make the money they do and be happy in the fact that they're making tons of money for some corporation!"

Apparently you didn't read (or couldn't comprehend) my statement. I pointed out that two wrongs (Fox gouging people for a billion dollars and these guys gouging fox for "their share") don't make a right. Just because Fox has somehow managed to swindle $1B out of an gullible crowd, that somehow makes 6 of their employees gouging them the right thing to do?

There's nothing wrong with earning a fair living off what you do best, but for fuck's sake, can't you see the difference between a fair living and "greedy opportunistic fuck"? I guess not.

Oh, and these people ARE taking money out of your pocket, believe it or not. It may not be direct, in the form of you buying their merchandise, but it comes back to you. It always does. The guys at the top charge each other exhorbitant rates (timeslots for shows, advertising, marketing, etc) and where do you think they all pass these costs to? That's right, you, me, everyone else.

You're a fool and a simpleton if you can't think and make judgements for yourself and rely on the propoganda you've been spoonfed all your life. You're the perfect drone for an industry that will step on anyone and anything in their way for the almighty buck.

I almost wish I was a religious person at times. That way I could have some comfort in thinking that people who will sell out their fellow man for a few bucks might face some sort of cosmic justice some day. What's your goal in life? Is it to contribute to mankind, raise a family, and in turn teach your children what it means to be human? Or is the goal equated in the number of dollars you've accumulated by the time you die? How the hell can you put a dollar value on the outcome of a child's education and upbringing? You can't. Teachers are with children for close to half of their pre-adult years and as such are responsible for a good portion of their upbringing. However, teachers are treated like shit by the kids, accused of everything under the sun by the parents, paid like crap, and can lose their career in an instant should some slanderous allegation ever be cast upon them. You clearly don't understand capitalism.

Unfortunately, I understand it all too well. It seems people like you do not understand the implications of this, however.

They are earning their money by performing a job. The Simpsons brings in multiple millions every year, and these people deserve their fair share.

FAIR share? What fucking planet are you on?! Yeah, it's FAIR that someone who does a funny voice gets more money for one day's work than an entire family earns in a year. It's FAIR that simply because you were born with some talent that the next guy wasn't, that you should live in the lap of luxury while he struggles to make ends meet, working a job that barely puts food on the table for his kids

Pro atheletes earn millions a year. As do singers/actors and other entertainers. When a person/voice develops their own "brand" they can and should charge more for their services.

Am I the only one who see that THIS is the problem with capitalism? It's lopsided beyond belief, with a select few possessing the majority of the money in the country. It just keeps getting worse too, the divide gets greater and greater. The rich get richer, the poor get poorer.

The despicible thing about it, is that it is the richest who whine the most about their salaries! Now, I'm not condoning Fox's greedy attitude here, but I think that someone who's making $100k+ for a day or two of work should thank their lucky stars that they have it so good. If you don't want to do the show anymore and persue other interests, fine, go do it. But to demand even more money? Simply because the company you work for is raking it in? The solution to someone else's greed isn't to become greedy yourself. That just fuels the fire.

I just can't believe how selfish people have become. Putting their own needs far above any concern for what happens to others in the process. And to justify such an action in the name of "capitalism" is just plain disgusting.

And this is exactly where the ricers fail to understand: whatever you can do to a little 2.2L engine, you can do to a 5.7L+ engine. I consistently hear quotes like "oh, all I have to do is throw a turbo or nitrous on my civic and I'll blow that stock mustang away". Okay, buddy, and if the mustang throws a turbo or nitrous on his engine? Then what? Huh? yeah, you get beaten again, and he paid half the price you did.
