    Pfff, the truth is that other companies can make x86-64 compatible chips. Soon five at least will be making them.

    I'm old enough to know within 2 years they were superior to all competition, and no internet-facing search engine is better.

    there are other ways to verify and sign records in a normal distributed database, the blockchain ledger system are constipated and bottlenecked, "poor scalabliity" and why transactions take so long.

    google doesn't need such a thing, most businesses don't need such a thing.

    blockchain is mostly a fad outside of crypto currency where it's a bottleneck

    I'd guess most your east side phones are bought on credit and if they're iphone 4 some of those might be clinton/bush/obama lifeline phone.

    plenty of solidly middle class people own iphones, most the people at work have them. I can afford any phone made...but choose to own android that costs less than half of iphone price

    Not visionary if people were envisioning such things in the 1950s, the pocket computers and communicators, cars with navigation computers that could speak, computers built into furniture or walls, etc. (Asimov, Heinlein, etc.).

    Note Jobs had no such successful product though his competitors did.

    websites are not "common carriers", what nonsense is that. They are file servers with owners, that have right to delete or not allow files on their storage since they are paying the bill for it, by whatever criteria they want to imagine.

    a lot of motherboards still have parallel port, just need connector and ribbon to bring it outside the case. Geez look at the BIOS screen next time before jumping into DOS.

    yup, 8.5 pounds. I have the black one with grey keys so it looks as tough as it is. Family hates the sound of it but my fingers love it. Today's keyboards are garbage.
