    What's the legality of going after said creator?

    At the time of creation there were no laws in place to prevent it, if creator has had zero input since creation is there any culpability there?

    That's about like suing the inventor of the gun for all gun crimes committed.

    I fully agree with you, and you aren't alone. In my immediate family not one of us takes anything outside of aspirin or multivitamins, unless absolutely necessary.

    30 years ago there was no ADD, or ADHD you were considered hyper, no medication needed just lower his sugar intake and keep him away from sodas. Today, not so much. Seems like all my daughters friends are ADHD or on some type of med for something.

    My thoughts exactly, to that end it seems now the thing to do is to discredit Snowden who I consider a true patriot.

    Of all the things said about him by the NSA the one thing that strikes me about the whole case is that nowhere ever is it mentioned he did it for money or anything other than to expose what the NSA was up to to the world.

    You can just imagine what would happen if cybercriminals or a malicious program got access to the LastSession.plist file on a system where the user logs in to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or their online bank account.

    I'd consider that to be a goatse sized hole.

    Yep, I admit when I read the summary headline I about ROFL'd and had to check my calendar to make sure I didn't hibernate and wake up on 1 April.

    FTFA it appears to be a specific mechanism for pooling their data, not OpenSource itself just there was no opensource solution at the time.

    The same was said about the bank bailouts, so taking both of those bailouts into account, wouldn't that money in the hands of the people stimulate the economy far more than it has?

    I know what I'd do with an extra $50k from Uncle Sam tax free. Hint, I'd use the entire amount as a down payment on a house I could afford.

    Nope, they never will, yes I'm a Yank.

    The adage "the masses are asses" is very true and in the US has never been more obvious.

    I believe the European version of that saying would be "the peasants are revolting, yes they sure are".

    Most are kept happy with their snackies in a sack and their football on tv, and company X pumping in new episodes of whatever passes for TV entertainment these days.

    Meanwhile we let Washington run amok like a Kindergarten class whose teacher walked out of the room, and we sit idly by watching all this happen waiting patiently for Apple to release the new iDevice.

    Is it just me or does this seem like more double speak from this administration?

    I'm going to have to call complete bullshit on this one, now while a 3d printed gun may be able to go through a detector unnoticed don't we currently have police state style pat downs anyway that render a metal detector useless, this isn't even getting into the scanners.

    Yep, reading on CO60 it's not as volatile as you'd think unless you come into physical contact with it. Hell it's half life is only 5.7 years.

    Besides if it's in the container, designed to contain the radiation, how is a satellite going to detect that radiation not being emitted from that container?

    Best bet to catch them is do what they did and say they will be dead soon, which not knowing if they in fact came into contact with it or not is overstating the facts.

    Agreed, we are talking something radioactive but it is only dangerous at most 6 years before it decays into nickel.

    I looked at a datasheet for cobalt 60 apparently you have to come into physical contact. Looking at it shouldn't do them much harm.
