    Hummm ... your comments have a "bio-sociologic" ring to them. Eau-contra're A HARD scientist obeys no RULES in his professional behavior, save that his mathematic predictions are born out by (his) experiment. A correct theory must predict correctly ... tho it may do other things, like "explain". There is no other scientific criteria for correct theory. It also follows, just barely, that no-prediction == no-science.
    Can evolutionary discriptions make correct quantitative predictions in-the-large? Special pleading for a "young science" cannot be accepted.
