As a former CNE I don't understand all the fuss about Novell. Their technology stopped providing value to companies and therefore stopped paying my bills long ago. Do any other former CNE's list that on their resume these days? Not me, there's no net gain from it. I always did like Novell, Gateway and others but time marches on.
If you haven't figured it out yet, IT and the people in it are just a resource to be used and abused. If you're not connected up in the food chain then tread carefully. Just a worker bee here.
How about just stop buying all music CD's for say a month. I mean every last one of us just stop. Economics, I mean DOLLARS is the only thing global corporate entities understand. DO IT.
Dude, just enroll at the beginning level(for you) at a local Junior College. While the books are fine you'll get to ask questions and iteract with others more and less knowledgeable than you. That is more valuable than sitting in your room studying concepts with no one to bounce ideas to.

Not sure if this is in the same boat with the diamond ring but one year I decided on a non-traditional anniversary gift for my wife. We had a new house and no land scaping. I had a crew come in and spent a ton of money on land scaping as the anniversary gift. I was told it was not personal enough by my wife. Being a guy I still don't understand this line of thought. This wife is now my ex-wife.
Women, can't live with them, can't live without them. God does have a sense of humor and women are proof of it!
And the gas chamber guard at the concentration camp during WWII was just following orders.....People were made to wait here for what they had been told was a disinfecting shower. The buildings in the distance are those of the gas chambers and ovens of Krematorium V, their actual destination. A fence blocked their view but the screams of those further along the Nazi destruction line could be heard......
Leadership starts at the top and by example. There are very few real Leaders in Corporate America and none work at Microsoft.
You are exactly right. You are an easy target for the media even if they are libel (as soph mentioned in their reply)if you are financially not able or willing to take them to court for their actions.
The spin by the media is guided by the principle that you are innocent until proven guilty. Thus the "nice" choice of words for the WorldCom bastards who are responsible for this "alleged" fraud.
