I thought the images were quite lovely! The images looked hand-drawn and seemed to express the volumes in a subtle and compelling way. Almost like an X-ray of a Rubens.
Thank you so much for writing this post. There is nothing as cathartic as reading one's thoughts written by another. The only thing sadder than the truth you have presented, are the insipid attempts at arguing with it.
Well, you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but what you think has nothing to do with why Farscape was cancelled. The wonderful sets and costumes and special effects were too expensive for Sci-Fi channel.
Plot, character development, story arcs, entertainment value, etc... have nothing to do with why a show is on the air. The following statement will completely explain the whole nature of the television industry.
$¥£!
I loved Farscape, and the fact that Sci Fi channel couldn't support a (large, educated and wealthy) fanbase that stuck with them for 4 years for just 1 more year, makes me sick of the whole TV industry. I have programmed the sci-fi channel off my tuner so I won't get mad when I'm flipping through channels and I won't watch any of their new shows. I'm not even going to watch the final eps of Farscape, I'm buying the DVDs.
Oh, and can you please name a specific scene in season 4 that exemplifies the degeneration of 'self-introspection and self-pity' or 'chichton's whining, indignant yelling.'
It sounds like you are more in favor of static, undeveloped characters that act the same every week and never change, for better or worse, like real people.

Or maybe someone else will be happy only making a few thousand off of a song, instead of multi-millions. You've heard to get something with 'a song and a dance' means to get it for next to nothing. Well, that's about what a song and a dance are worth.
It's actually not a good idea for someone suffering photosensitive epilepsy to see a movie in a theatre, anyway. Especially with the overuse of the 'MTV-style editing' these days...
My step-sister, years ago when we were kids, had several warts on her hands. Her mom took her to this old lady in south Georgia who was supposed to know how to get rid of warts (among other witch-doctor like remedies) Well, a few months later my step sister is showing me how all her warts were gone! I asked her what the old lady did and she told me that the old lady had instructed her to bring a penny with her, and that was all she could tell me! She said if she told me what the old lady did with the penny, the warts would come back. She never told me and her warts never came back.
Actually, Firefly isn't even original enough to rip-off Farscape. It's just some old western with 'space' in front of it. Like TV guide said, it's a 'space western' with 'space bar fights' and 'space pistols' and 'space hookers' and 'space sherrifs' and 'space train robberies', I bet they even keep warm with 'space heaters'
groundbreaking? no. mind-boggling? hardly. totally original? not in the least. I gave it a fair chance, and it was truly lame.
Too bad it had none of the originality or spark that Farscape does. Just because it's a mag-lev train, doesn't make a 'train robbery' episode any more original. I was bored with the whole thing.
Actually, Farscape being cancelled has made me not very enthusiastic about anything on TV. I mean, it's all about money. It has nothing to do with good stories or fan involvement or anything 'noble' like that. It's a bunch of suits looking at profit margins. BAH! I'm sick of the whole thing. I'm not even going to bother with 'Taken'
I'll program it off my VCR.
They can show a billion Star Trek reruns and I still won't watch it. I'll leave that programming director bitch hate mail every day. If you do this I HATE YOU SCI FI CHANNEL.
from dictionary.com... note: I am originally from the southeast USA, where I've heard any soft drink generally called 'coke.' (Coca-Cola is based in Atlanta, GA) This definition does note include 'coke.' I now live in the northwest USA and call it 'pop' like everyone else. soft drink n. In both senses also called soda pop, also called regionally cold drink, drink, pop, soda, soda water, tonic. 1. A nonalcoholic, flavored, carbonated beverage, usually commercially prepared and sold in bottles or cans. 2. A serving of this beverage. See Regional Note at tonic. *yawn*
I get about 300 a day, currently.
Just look up the word doom and you'll see it's the same word, only a thousand years older.
It is also related to the suffix -dom, entry #12.
That's exactly what would have prevented the near tragedy when those miners were trapped not too long ago.

Fuck Sci-Fie
You said about Farscape, "this season felt more like the writers were making things up as they went." Interesting, that's how reality works.

This is exactly what happened to John Crichton.

Actually, Apple has much less market share than 1/10.
He was a 'terrorist' so it was OK.

Oh yeah, and how about that lame 'evil villian/bad fake accent/old fart with a meat locker' Scorpy would eat that guy for breakfast.

They cancelled Farscape. After the last ep of Farscape, I won't watch that lousy network again! That goes for Spewburg's latest, too. -DNA
... sung to the tune of John Lennon's 'Imagine'
Any relation to Professor Hubert J. Farnsworth? Oh, and wasn't this cancelled?

I hope and pray you are correct!
I was being facetious.
