I read this interesting bit of information in the Jan 2003 Reader's Digest. The Anthrax epidemic (or the handwritten letters thereof) was basically traced to a scientist that was employed by a contractor of the CIA. The CIA rather effectively railroaded the FBI's investigation of the case. The writter of this article was a Professor who moonlights as an FBI detective, and was rather irked about the handling of this investigation.
Sorry for being an ass to you:) That site is also down for me. Wikipedia is also unreachable:( I am in Moscow. At least google and/. are reachable, that's all I really need anyway.
Hey, I live in (Alaska|Greenland|Russia) you insensitive clod!!! (Actually Russia, but I used to live in Alaska). The Mercator Projection really stretches out the Northern and Southern areas of the world quite badly.
No. MSIE for Mac was definitely a steaming pile of dog crap. I am a professional web designer, and I worked in the Mac Lab in my university. Trust me, when I tell you that.
Doesn't Google News link to news articles from slashdot? I hope for the sake of many poor souls that this link doesn't get linked to from anywhere else. I guess the server hosting that article must have had a pretty major security hole:p
That said, I am an EFL teacher... will these damn goatse robots be replacing me anytime soon?
No, actually I have friends that have taught English over there, and they have said many good things of Russia. They have also mentioned that there indeed are a lot of very beautiful women that are much more frinedly than their stuckup American counterparts. One even wished he had done more dating while there.
I am a student who is going to be in Moscow for a while next year. I have been warned about how so many women will pursue American men. I'm not planning on getting invovled anyone, but thought I'd be smart to ask advice of someone who married a Russian women. Was the cross cultural marrige experience difficult? Did things work out alright, etc? Just thought I'd ask before being faced with that situation...
I am privy to some leaked images of Lockheed's CEV prototype. The images are posted on this website: http://www.uline.com/Browse_Listing_409.asp If someone asks, you didn't hear about this from me.
