So now that Buzzfeed - the source of this story, and MSNBC's source for the story have said "they haven't seen any documents, or even proof" of what that story said. I guess that means it's all bullshit now.
Got a link to the place on Buzzfeed & MSNBC where they say that?
One of your articles is an opinion piece from "Christian Advocates Serving Evangelism" and the other is an editorial from John Solomon, about which Wikipedia says:
He is known primarily for his tenure as an executive and editor-in-chief at The Washington Times. He has been accused of biased reporting in favor of conservatives, and of repeatedly manufacturing faux scandals.
Unless you're an FBI agent, and are pushing to get a FISA Court warrant on fake and fraudulent grounds. Then you're exempt from all those perjury laws...
Lying to the court is still a felony. Cohen has nothing to gain by lying.
As for Cohen being dishonest...that is Trump's top hiring criteria. All of his hires are chosen for the ability to look photogenic while they brazenly lie to the public. With perhaps the exception of Sarah Huckabee Saunders. She's extra special.
Old people should get out of tech and make room for the younger generation.
Time will eventually kill us old guys off. Until then I need to teach a few qualified kids what I do as most of them are *utterly clueless* and severely unmotivated.
Apple will charge the kid for an entire new motherboard and refuse to allow its store staff to fix the old. Kid is out $1200 dollars
$1200? No way. I had the motherboard in my out of warranty MacBook Pro (Retina, mid-2012) repaired by Apple in December, 2015 and it cost me a total of $310...$210 for the motherboard and $100 labor. That was over three years ago and the laptop is still working fine...I'm using it to type this comment.
1. Good for the EU. At least they understand that nothing is truly free.
2. You can't tax people that don't have anything. That's just common sense.
3. Consider yourself lucky that someone creates usable software and provides it freely to others including selfish people who don't appreciate its value or the effort that went into its creation.
Paying to find bugs won't make much sense unless you also provide cash to fund the maintainers for additional manpower. Open source maintainers are already spending all their allotted time on maintaining the code. Simply identifying more bugs doesn't fix the manpower issue and makes their job even more difficult.
If you are identifying problems (bugs) you should also offer solutions (funding).
However, tone policing destroys brevity and conciseness for the sake of feelings.
Not necessarily. Cutting out personal attacks or demeaning language can yield a shorter message. And even if the occasional message increases in size to more precisely explain one's thoughts it may well be worth the effort and result in a better understanding of each other's concerns and goals.
And yes, some of it might be "just" tooling. Maybe I can get an email filter in place so at when I send email with curse-words, they just won't go out. Because hey, I'm a big believer in tools, and at least _some_ problems going forward might be improved with simple automation.
It's heartening to hear that Linus is getting more self-aware. Another option he might consider is having someone else give his emails a quick review to ensure the tone aligns with his desired response. Sometimes the words in your head just don't sound the same when read by others.
Now, if you do something "bad", its possible to look back at your records and the records of everyone you interacted with to see who else is culpable.
Or if someone you have ever interacted with is under suspicion *they* may be investigated and a network chart of their connections to others generated, potentially dragging you into the crosshairs.
If you read that link I provided it says "no clutch or torque converter," meaning no disengagement, just a 10:1 reduction gear. This simplifies regenerative breaking.
Rather debate what is "stupid" I'll just say that anyone can answer that question in perhaps three seconds using Google and the two keywords "Tesla" and "transmission." The first linked result will provide the answer.

Where the hell is my robot dog? Aibo sucked and newer offerings still don't measure up.
I call it FART for short.
I say we make this a meme.

More to the point, China tries, and in large parts succeeds better that the West, to not leave people behind to poverty, distress, hunger, cold.
Except for the Uyghurs, who live in a "fully-fledged police state" and are detained in mass detention camps.

The trick is having the talent & skills to perform at that level of ability.
*Smoked* him, eh?
Nothing in this world is free
Gravity is free.
Modpoints, not midpoints. Damn spell correction gone rogue....
And I too have midpoints now but cannot moderate a thread that I've commented in and mark your post "Insightful"...
DST is a waste of time. Now it is time for the U.S. to do the same.
Sorry, I don't agree.

What else would you expect from a company named Nostrum Laboratories?
nostrum |nästrm|
noun

Clever, Snarky Snark.
