  3. I have introduced my 12yro to RC cars, plastic models, Rocketry, and tabletop games. He still has his video games but these hobbies will get him outside. He has been crazy for models since a trip to the WWII Museum.

Will the modern car soon feature a telemetry system that sends data back to the manufacturer? which then have a back door for LEA's to monitor and automatically send you speeding tickets - or at least send the autonomous cruiser to investigate and eventually gather the evidence to ticket you?

    I bought 2 Dell Venue 7 tablets a couple years ago - and they have been solid. My kid plays on his daily. no battery issues, and only 1 full wipe and reset.

    Has GM looked into developing a partnership with any of the major gas station chains (Exxon/Mobil/BP) to provide recharging services?
    If a quick charger was as ubiquitous as a gas pump I think it would go along way to defeating range anxiety when traveling long distances.

    Windows 7 like XP does what we need, with a familiar UI.

    As an office we are going to skip 8/8.X - its not a bad OS, my parents adapted once I installed Start8 (yes I know there are free apps out there).

    Arming more people is not necessarily the answer IMO I would prefer to see ballistic doors, and glass installed - keep the gunman out.
    This does not address the vulnerability of drop off and pickup times where I think the local police should provide a presence - its a couple of officers per school, for an hour or two a day - and most large school districts already have some liaison officers - this is just a few more to supplement the liaisons. I agree with your comments on Mental Healthcare - our nation needs a better system.
