One thing that that article didn't mention was that App approvial is mostly automated. That's why so many garbage apps get in (Apps that just display a single jpeg, or Apps that are just repackaged game demos).
Better yet, how about sending dead people? Dead people eat even less food than women and let's face it they're going to end up dead anyway, so this just gets it over with quickly.
Of course, the data is not sold to thrid parties. It's used to monitor who is making negitive comments about Apple. Once Apple unleash their invincible robot army and takes over the world, these herectics will be sent to the labor camps.
I think a better summery is "blogger creates click-bait post by sowing acute ancetodes about mechanical turk, etc. and a few technical looking graphs together to form a article that appears interesting, but really is just a bunch of waffle."
That's interesting, but the devil is in the details. A fusion rector needs a neutron multiplier and a neutron moderator, as well as the lithium breeding material. Even if the container material is somehow shielded, the moderator and multiplier materials will absorb neutrons becoming radioactive.
Except you forget about the high energy neutrons. They are absorbed by the reactor walls, causing the containment vessel to become radioactive and require frequent replacement.
I doubt that. TSMC 20nm will be ready for GPUs a lot sooner than their 16nm process. The only reason there are no 20nm GPUs yet is because the initial ramp was fully booked out by Apple. Meanwhile, a comparison of Apple's 20nm A8 density versus 14nm Core M, indicates Intel's 14nm may not have such a density advantage as they claim: https://www.semiwiki.com/forum...
The GTX 970 is as fast as AMD's flagship R9 290X, much more power efficient and is $170 cheaper. This means AMD will have to knock down prices by a huge amount and they are sort of depending on graphics revenue to break even, because of falling CPU marketshare.
Previously, Nvidia said that it would license it's Kepler GPU cores to third parties. Semiaccurate maintains that this licensing program was in fact bogus and was conceived purely to justify future patent trolling activities. Semiaccurate also claims that Nvidia tried to "shakedown" Apple with the same patents and Apple subsequently gave the contract for the Mac Pro GPU to AMD as punishment.
I must say ISIS took a turn that no one was expecting: after much success as a post-metal band and releasing 4 albums, they decided to re-emerge as Islamic terrorist group in Iraq.
Reminds me of the joke, "My dick is 12 inchs long, but I don't use it as a rule"
And if you want a standalone app there's SumatraPDF - much faster and about 100 times less bloated

Unfortunately, there is no SPEC benchmark available for iOS.
Well, no one is going to write graphically demanding games until the hardware capable of running them is available.
Maybe he wanted to say "the past", but had a stroke at the last moment.

Obviously, they should publish the full contract, just so slashdotters can give it their seal of approvial

If you actually read the article you would see that the PowerVR GPU performs better than the Intel graphics
The reason why is because Intel's modems haven't been certified yet for American operators.
No, I'm talking about fusion. The neutrons need to be slowed down for effective tritium breeding and that's done by a modifier (usually graphite)

Does anyone know how the virus can penetrate a hermetically sealed suit?
then much later:
8) Apple launches saphire glass based "death ray" weapon into orbit and unleashes invincible robot army
except X-Wife
I heard the microwave charging doesn't work too well
I doubt that.

The explaination is quite simple: more beer!
If you buy the 16GB instead of the 64GB you have and extra $100 left over to spend on beer!

That's more expensive than the total cost of many tablets
