no, he says, they license it, or get sued for using the technology (without paying)
I suggest, they refuse to license it, and sue people for using it, (without permission-which a patent holder does not have to grant)
All the digital photographs taken by my family, are on both the main data partition of our hard drive (which we access frequently) and an external firewire maxtor 160 gb, which I monthly or so copy over from the data partition.
in case of fire, my wife knows to 1-grab the kid, 2-grab the turtle 3- grab the maxtor, just pull it away from the desk
I've also told her to drop the turtle in the backyard before the firemen get to the house (not legal in my state) who's gonna grab your ten drive bay box with a baby and a turtle in their arms?
if I've read it right, they converted their shares at a 13.50 per share value, that means they lost over half the value of their investment in a fell swoop, just to get out....
He's in PRINT. his target audience are not geeks.
from the publication of the WSJ, you can assume his reviews are read by ceo's of fortune 500 companies, regularly..
and you think it is no different than say? Gizmodo?
of course someone at the peak of physical fitness is going to go bonkers spending three years in a cubicl^h^h^h^h^h spacecraft with no place to go outside.. there are people who spend months playing with computers, who hate going outside, and don't have the energy to move around much.. send the video gamers, no to lan gamers, they like to get out too much
send my wife, who spends entire days playing diablo with her perfect IK set, doing deliberate incomplete baal hell runs with 3-7 other people that would make me cry, and I can't stand to watch, she'll do it for 8 hours in a row... these are the people who can make the journey..
"That's right. I think it's next month we're releasing some of our classic albums again with new mastering technique, cause when they first came out the mastering was so primitive. Making CD's was so primitive and now it's very sophisticated so it sounds more like the analogue recordings, and I honestly can't tell the difference between those and the analogue."
so it sounds more like the analogue to me means, it ain't there yet, the fact that a musician, (who presumably, has been around loud noise for extended periods) can't hear the difference does not mean an audiophile (which I do not claim to be at all) cannot.
do you have any? Do they own a camera?
borrow it..
(parents are very understanding)
the results you aren't pleased with..

this picture, your first time using this camera.
although most cameras are purchased prior to an impending expected use, is it fair to blame a camera the first time you used it? most photogs know they need to use a camera for a while before they can expect the best the camera can produce.

Sonys new touted digital cameras are RGBe or emerald, every 4 pixles are Red Green Blue and Emerald, purportedly because our eyes are twice as sensitive to green, and this makes better pictures (according to sony).
if we are so 'green aware' why don't inkjet printers ever have green ink?
I always just changed my scantron form to make it indicate it was the new 'master' scantron machines (the ones my school had) scored cards marked as masters as a perfect score (0 missed) and to the hell with the forms folliwng mine.
I purchased one of These toshiba models known as a 'series 2'. there are a few manufacturers of these, they all have a 'basic mode' that gets three days worth of programming, gratis.. the only recording options are 1-picking something in the next three days by name or manual based on date channel and time (as in original VHS VCR's)
I paid a lot less than amazon's price, and do not pay either a monthly or 299 fee to Tivo. (ok, I didn't pay it yet) and it's still damn useful for me, the kid cries, I pause and go, the kid screams, I go, and if I make it back in 30 minutes, I'm still good.
originally designed for this scenario
no, he says, they license it, or get sued for using the technology (sued to pay for a license)
I suggest, they refuse to license it, and sue people for using it, (sued for damages and an order to stop using the technology)

rated for paper.. in 3-4 hours your film negatives and CDR's (and hard drives) will be a little plastic puddle at the bottom..
you don't see a third option? they refuse to license the technology, and sue the pants off anyone who uses it? thereby enabling filesharing?

Actually, in certain high crime areas, it is legal for stations to have customers pump their own gas in the middle of the night.
all those claims? the people who bought licenses? surely, that was revenue also?
(knock it with a feather) actually could make it happen.
if you wait till it's next to the earth to park it, yea, a really INTENSIVE amount of energy is required.
but, if you do the math perfectly, you can get it to park itself with a really light tap..
(fuckup the math, and it does crash on the planet)
I'd love to have abuse@gmail.com
after all, they won't be reading slashdot while they are working......

course, they're useless when you get there....

pfft.. do some research...
That's the rub then, for all microsoft OS's, it does qualify for a patent
look around for c.o.w.s.
much more realistic

how do I, the merchant, prove I 'heard' the squawk?
