    I sincerely hope, more than 'urges' based on ethnicity...

    it gives realistic death results. as in, when you get 'shot' you have to lie down, stop playing, and watch footage of funerals until the entire simulation run is over...

    I was using groups to look up some technical information on a cell phone, a lot of the results came back from alt.2600

    now groups.google.com is blocked, and they tell me they won't unblock it.

    I use S&D, and it don't tell nobody what I found.. so how come earthlink knows?

    maybe we need a responsible ISP to allow user/customer selected keyword filtering at the ISP level.

    Mindspring sadly, is gone...
    (yes, I know they were combined with earthlink, I still have my mindspring email)

    you just have to remember, it keeps items in 'last used order'

    I sometimes have far more than 10 windows open, and I alt tab between the last 4 used..... if the item you want is too far down the list, ya click it off the task bar (XP)

    automatics eat about 5% more gasoline.

    in most of europe (at least many countries, I can't speak for all)
    there is a government imposed additional cost to the price of an automatic. There are far fewer households that own autos, and those that do, usually get the most fuel efficient and low weight car they can.

    in some countries it is the law that service vehicles (taxis) must be in neutral when not in motion, and turned off when traffic is frozen (slashdotted) for more than 3 minutes.
