My first personel computer was a C64. It had a 5.25" disk drive. All of my friends with C64 were dealing with cassette head adjustment. It was cool to have a disk drive.
But; now they all have a life and I'm just posting to Slashdot. I wish I had to deal with cassette head adjustment and found out there were better things to do outside.

Yes. Linux will not go mainstream with a test kernel! There is a stable kernel release for going mainstream.

Until one week ago I was clicking to the banner ads on Slashdot to support it.
But I came across a page that was 200kb with a large banner ad. That's really huge for a user on dial-up like me.
So; now "ads.osdn.com" sits in my hosts file. It will stay there until I get a broadband connection or webmasters become reasonable.
Because I've just been awarded a patent on settling violations of patents out of court.
