It says in the article they have to pay up AND delete the files, so I assume they do not get to keep the content.

The first time the term "computer bug" was when the computers used big tubes and moths were attracted to it, and would get caught in them, causing the computer to mess up. I guess ants are now the problem.

  4. Re:The Real Question is? on Congress Passes SWSA · · Score: 0

Physical radio stations pay NO royalties, why should webcasters have to pay anything for broadcasting music with crappy sound quality? It seems to just make it so that no non-profit radios can survive, and you have to pay some sort of fee for broadcasting anything. I think it is undemocratic.

In the future, windows will have so many fady menus, sounds, and animated question marks in the setup, so a 10 teraflop pc running Windows 2666 will be equal to linux on a 486.

I saw a thing on the discovery channel, and it was an old lady living in an airplane, she seemed to like it, and it looked fairly normal on the inside with no seats and walls. On another subject, that silo home looks cool are roomy, and you would never have to worry about heating/cooling, since underground stays perfect temp, if you were at the bottom level, would you be immune to nuclear warefare?

  7. The reason I went to google from yahoo on Altavista Renewed · · Score: 0

I left yahoo about a year back, it just got too sick and bloated for me, and google has such a clean interface. When I goto yahoo.com I get DHTML and flash ads for Britney Spears asking me to drink some pepsi. The only ads I get on google are little ones to the left and top, and they are relevant to what I am asking for, when I am looking for a good UNIX host, chances are, I don't want a pepsi.

The united states has finally stood up for the little guy and put a trust into it's citizens just as apple does with it's users. This will promote moral values also. If you tell a teenage somthing is wrong, they are more likely todo it, if not, they are more likely todo the right thing.

I am so glad to see that Apple is not falling for this, and taking a stand for the little guy. Microsoft tends to call their users theifs with activation, etc, but Apple adds a sence of trust to their users that they will do the right thing as long as they do not call their users theifs. I hope they do not go through with the Palladium technology too.
