    As compared to Itunes which started out only working on OSX computers?? and will soon(November/December) work on Windows... but still not Linux.

    Napster is back, and competing with Itunes... Unfortunately selection sucks... although, the unlimited "listens" for $10 a month is attractive if you just want to have radio that plays what you want.... If they have it.

    Rigged, Perhaps, however, it doesn't look like they did any sort of calibration... One test... not an average or aggregate..

    At least according to the article... So it could have been sunspots... or atmospheric phenomena.
    Since as we all know benchmarks especially using a stopwatch have a range... and that range should be the factor...

    SO I call lack of due diligence..

    Well, the "Under God" part is quite clearly historical commentary... Referencing the DoI.

    OTOH, the Oath the president, Congress the Supreme Court, members of our military, etc. take, Ends with "SO help me God"... Now that part is technically optional, but it is included nonetheless.

    The question is - will the drive perform despite having only 2mb of cache, and running at 5400 rpm?

    Of course it will perform, much like the uber-geek purchasing it: fat and sloth-like, with a really small wang.

    Now if only they had hard drive ginseng...

    I didn't know they were known for being small... Most of the ones I saw were larger than I am...and weighed 600+lbs

    Power Cord, leftover from 8086. Least valuable part then, most valuable part now. Still using it too.
    Least valuable??? or least expensive.... My computer doesn't work without the power cord, so while it is inexpensive... it's value is measureless.

    What are you talking about, they get paid either way. You pay to file the patent, not to have it approved.

    Granted there are "maintenance fees" but they don't come due until 3.5,7.5 and 11 years after approval.
