It's a joke on the Heisenberg uncertiainty principle. Essentially the two things we're measuring vary inversely, and hbar is included so people get the reference.
Yeah, that was all I could think of as well, but I haven't managed to come up with a situation in which you'd want to store so many booleans that you could afford processing power more than extra space, since hard drives and memory are relatively cheap these days.
What's with these bit arrays? I'd think that any system small enough to worry about the amount of space a byte array takes up would either be more concerned with the additional time it takes to access a single bit or would not be processing large enough amounts of data for the array size to be a problem. What am I missing?
For that matter, it's hardly illegal to visit a a P2P website (especially one which now has nothing on it) or use P2P software. That's like trying to scare somebody by telling them you saw them walk past a crack house that's been shut down anyway.
Mod parent up!
Of course no one here is scared. Think about the clueless masses who don't even know what an IP is. All they'll see is "YOU HAVE BEEN LOGGED FOR VISITING THIS SITE".
The part of this that's interesting is not that they know how to display IPs. It's that they choose to do so in an attempt to scare us that's worth mentioning.
You're thinking he's a mere mortal hack. Dvorak has a spooky ability to consistently be as wrong as possible. I wouldn't say anyone disregards his opinion pieces, exactly, anyway. We read them carefully and assume that the exact opposite of whatever he says is true.
Actually, yes, they are. They use OpenGL for all the 2d parts of the interface as well as the 3d display. So if your driver has broken 2d OpenGL rendering (many do, since it's not commonly used), Blender's menus will be broken to some degree.
Anyone can see that they're already in our TVs... otherwise how could we understand all the aliens on Star Trek?

Heh. My exact first thought. "If I move now, how long before I can become a citizen?"
Even when your BIOS supports USB keyboards? I've not tried it, mind you, so I'm just expressing my surprise, not saying you're wrong.

That's good though. Just the kind of answer I was looking for.

I question how effective you'll be. Even if a large number of people did it, that page doesn't have a large amount of content to use up bandwidth.

That's part of why it's so ridiculous.
The leech things?
I never much liked KDE, but this article does highlight some cool features. Time to give it another try, maybe.
Or maybe those same methods could be applied to your ears.
That's its current value.
I dunno; I'm willing to bet that he knows his wife better than you do.
MS's command line doesn't seem to autocomplete the commands themselves though.
The other way is to just launch your web browser and let it sort out MIME types.
Is this just dumb, or is it the most ineffective troll ever?
Firefox doesn't seem to scale SVG based on your DPI settings though.
Theoretically... pragmatically, Dvorak is kind of a special case.

Yeah, ordinarily that's worth trying, but consider the source of the argument.
