1. Download movies
2. Pin it on RIAA's website IP address (76.74.24.143)
3. Let the cops arrest RIAA
4. Peace and Quiet
5. Profit!
But seriously... if you can spoof using any IP address (Printer, Website, etc), then everyone can claim it was not them downloading anything and there is not sure way to prove it.
Just food for Thought.
For a person who is interested in the film industry, what is the best way to get a little camera time? In particular how does a person (in Boston, MA) find out where and when a movies are going to be recorded so they be a stand-in? Perhaps even interview for a small role?
Thank you
Perhaps there is a connection because perhaps geeks (I mean smart people) have difficulties getting girls. Weird Al said it best.....

The audio does not take as much disk space as you would think. Typically, on a DVD, full 5.1 takes about 50 megs (after rip) while video takes the other 650. They may be decreasing the video quality or reducing the FPS.
Is this Alex from Boston? If so, I tried to get in contact you for a while since you moved to CA.
What if a person has a insecure wireless network and Joe Six-Pack connects to your network and downloads copyright material? Would you be held liable, or Joe would be? Since it was downloaded using your internet connection, would you have to prove Joe downloaded and you do not have copy? But again, if you do not have a copy, upon your system anywhere, how/why can they take legal action against you if there is no hard proof.
As in the example given, shop-lifting and copy right infringement. If you go to a department store (say Walmart) and they video tapes you taking DVD's and placing them into you coat pocket. They could not take legal action until they find it on you. But what if you walked away (in the store) and left the DVD somewhere else where the camera did not see you. Hence you do not have a stolen DVD and you have not done anything wrong and legal action can not be taken against you. Worst they can say, "don't came back here." Same thing with the wireless network; if you do not have the movie on you system (or copies on cd's), how can they take legal acation against you?
It was said "If John Doe had sent the picture as a hard copy through...... [in] Ronald Fitch's neighborhood this would be a no contest case of slander."
What is the picture was not a parady but a fact? Would they be still held responsible? For example, posting (real) nuddie pictures of a x-boyfriend in his neighborhood... What legal case can see had against the poster? Some might say it was private and should not been posted in the first place. But what if the printed images WERE OBTAINTED via email in the first place? Is it freedom of speech then? Share your insight people.
Any ideas how to use this (if possible) to record programs froma Dish Network system? I would love to have recording capabilities to pause and rewind my sat feed. Any ideas or input would be greatly appricated. Thanks
Poland has internet? I guess growing potatoes, drinking Wodka and having a corupted government paid off!
P.S. I am Polish and never seen anyone buy a game from any store (all pirates) and let alone get a real copy of Half Life 2 when it first comes out.
Don't forget now about cheery bombs. In my youth days, I remember putting a couple of those babies under a small garbage bin and run! This left the bin with a loud boom, plenty of smoke, and peices flying everywhere:)
Ahh.. the joy of fireworks and using them in ways not intended by the manafacture:)
got a test box of Windows Media Center 2005. Works great with all audio files and even plays/records High Def TV:) It handles hi-def signal from the roof antena and the sat system. Provides Dolby digital optical output directly to my receiver.

VDR, what is that? If you have hints or suggestions how to do this, I would appricate it. Thanks
what is lirc?
No firewire, just DVI. Anything I can do with that?
The whole point is to avoid buying additional boxes not to pay the $5 fee per box. Second recording in hi-def, the units cost at least $500 plus.
How about controlling the system with a remote? Any ideas what would be compatiable?

Usually one cure and one cure works the best; a visit from Dr. Jack. A tall bottle (1.75 liter) of Dr. Jack Daniels will fix anyone right up!

The original writer of the post made a typo (or just completly made it up). The most expensive price of Halo 2 is $177.50 WITH a XBox system.
