A company's products are the public face of a company, not the CEO. Until this whole debacle I hadn't a clue who the CEO of Mozilla is or ever has been. What I knew of Mozilla was that they made a pretty darn good web browser among other things. The CEO is there to make sure they keep making a good browser and that the employees are taken care of. If the browser goes to crap or the employees are being mistreated, then he should be ousted.
My entire life until I was introduced to Fluke, multi-meters were black. A quick google image search brings up lots of yellow multi-meters that aren't by Fluke, but most of them are quite apparently NOT by Fluke and you can tell at a glance. No grey face plate, different color of yellow. The one this story refers to is a very clear Fluke knock-off attempt. https://www.google.com/search?...
I would have to agree with you on that. The summary refers to the Sparkfun multi-meter as "yellowins-orange" but in the picture it looks strikingly like the yellow that fluke uses. The grey face is pretty darn close to the grey Fluke uses too. I'd like to see a side by side comparison photo.
I don't think the Bill of Rights refers to any of the rights therein as inalienable (or unalienable for that matter) The Declaration of Independence only lists "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" as unalienable. I think we may have managed to give those up too when our country decided to throw out the first half of that sentence.
Yes, put your server room below grade that way when you get that unprecedented torrential rain storm the flood waters will keep all your server gear nice and cool so it operates at peak performance. Yes that is a good idea.
I'm glad you said that. It was the first thing that came to my mind when I read the headline too. I'm also glad you got first post with it. This made my day.
It's a shame to see Nokia falling apart. It was not long ago that they had the very promising n900. I was all ready to buy one of those until I found out that it wasn't available on my carrier of choice, and in fact the only carriers it was available on in my area were the ones with the poorest coverage.
It is only socialist or communist when done by the government. By definition a private citizen or organization cannot be socialist or communist. Those two words imply a governing body forcefully taking resources from some and giving them to others.
Joe Sixpack doesn't care as long as the corrupt politicians continue to raise someone else's taxes and give the money to him so he can go out and buy another sixpack.
...sounds good. That is almost the way I work now on windows or linux. On windows I more often than not hit (windows) + R to get the run box and then type the name of the.exe I want to run. On Ubuntu, it is (alt) + (f2) and type a command. I for one hope our Ubuntu overlords pull this off.
Your bill doesn't go down because the majority of Americans don't understand that they are paying for their "free" or "discounted" phone over the life of the contract. They think they really got a free phone or a discount. They figure their monthly bill is strictly covering their monthly usage of the service. Therefore, the cell phone service providers can get away with it.
[Disclaimer: I'm expecting few to read this, so I haven't spent much time editing the post so I apologize to any poor soul who reads the following disorderly thoughts] Really...Really??? Who do you think provides money to the soup kitchens and homeless shelters? That's right, it's rich people. What makes you think that rich people don't deserve to have the money they have? The majority of "Wealthy" people (at least in the USA) are people who worked hard for the money they have. They deserve every penny of it an more. Most of them are people who have put in endless hours in order to grow their small businesses into something that makes them profit and provides jobs for others. Those who aren't small business owners, are simply people who lived on less than they make, and saved as much as they could, and after living frugally and saving for 20 or 30 years, they are now multimillionaires. Then what do they do with that money they have saved and invested? They give it to churches, they give it to soup kitchens, they give it to the poor and needy.
Class warfare is a foolish thing. The rich have no reason to hate the poor. The rich have no reason to "attack" the poor. I would wager that any ware that exists between the poor and the rich was started by the poor. Not the poor in general, but the poor who are too lazy to try to get ahead. The poor would be much better off befriending the rich as a rich man will always be willing to help his friend, but if the poor make themselves the enemy of the rich, all the rich can do is defend themselves, and to some people that is going to look like an attack.

Humans suffer from major memory leaks and must be shut down periodically due to poor garbage collection.
What is your basis for defining what is moral vs. immoral?

If I had mod points I would mod you up

The cloud isn't a catchall solution to every problem.
Say it ain't so!

You are welcome to leave at any time. We won't be sad to see you go. I heard McDonalds is hiring burger flippers. You may be qualified for that.
Not really since it is only 1%
+1 funny... Wish I had mod points...
What does sex education have to do with science? Just curious...

Victims got family, and families hire thugs.
I second that motion. How is this new and different.
Wow! From zero to crazed activist in three posts. I think this is a new record!
Um.... the original poster said he is using Xen...
We're using Xen to run over 5000 FreeBSD instances on a singe high-end server.
