Global cooling is being seen as a real threat to the future of the earth. Since the total ban on fossile fuel put in place by the United Nations (News - Website) in 2014 most countries have resorted to the use of TCP (Thermal Conversion Process) to satisfy their demand for energy. TCP is blamed as a major reason not enough CO2 is being recycled back into the atmosphere. The TCP process uses bio material to convert into oil, solid waste and other biproducts. In effect taking CO2 out of the air and converting large portions of it into solids.

Harry Sweltering of Hemispheric Organization for Technology or HOT (News - Website) states, "we have seen a drastic reduction of carbon being introduced back into the air. This reduction has caused the ozone layer to become exceedingly thick. If we do not come up with a new form of energy soon we can expect our oceans to sink drastically, the ice caps on the poles extending down into the northern parts of Canada, Scandinavia and parts of Russia."

A few people in Congress is calling for drilling in the ANWR (Artic National Wildlife Refuge) (News - Website). Samantha Coolridge, D-Minn, stated "We are at a crossroad. Either we start drilling now or we will see a natural catastophy on a scale never before seen in the history of mankind."

A bill is now being sponsored by Frank Lukewarm, D-Ala, under heavy lobbying from Sierra Club (News - Website) and Americans for the Environgment (News - Website) to open up ANWR to oil companies.

E Model just under $6000 includes three bags that can hold weight up to 75lbs., if empty you need balast.

The units have a follow mode, where you can walk infront of the unit and it will follow (duh). Guess that is how you get it up curbs and such. It does feature some suspension though, so I assume it can handle bumps and such pretty good.

Both models available immideately to corporate and/or government customers.

You have to attend training either back east or if you buy multiple machines you can have training on site. Traning cost $250.

A "train the trainer" program available to people that has completed the traning and has logged 30 hours on the unit. Free of charge. This will allow the person to train others.

After completing the training, unit will take 3-4 weeks for delivery.

As I understand there are still mounds of legal issues surronding the use of the Segway in pulic, I believe that is the reason it is only available to corp/gov customers.

If a coporate unit is used in public, the liability rest on the company.

I have read accounts of people using the Segway on uneven surface (gravel, going up one wheel on ramp and one off) and the report is that it is _extreemely_ stable, someone compared it to standing on a podium others said it felt just like it had four wheels.

Anyhow, that is about all I know at the moment regarding it.

The Sky Car also would not allow you to have control of the vehicle, it would be totally controled by the four computers onboard. So set your destination and kick back and pull up your notepad and read some slashdot before you get to work.

Another cool thing about that is that there would really be no need to purchase more than one Sky Car per family. One goes to work then sends the car back home to pick up the kids for school etc..
