Don't give your cat too much milk, they're generally pretty lactose intollerent. Also it gives them gas. Might be ok for dogs but i don't really know that one.
Eh, people just want ie to piss off at the moment, if ms hadn't dragged their feet for so long on improving the browser it wouldn't have gotten to the point where there's all this bad blood towards it and you wouldn't be getting these rants. Yes, people want ie to support standards, but only if it feels the need to annoy people by continuing to exist. Also i think you are understating what their lack of adherance to standards means to a lot of people and also technologies. There's a lot of stuff web devs just can't do exclusively because ie continues to exist and suck. I don't think you have to 'twist' that one too hard to make it look bad.
I don't spank to the models, I just want to be either hot or badass, preferably both. Hence i just went ud female. Which is neither, but it's as good as i could find.
No, of course not. If, however, it was released by another company with starcraft and warcraft 3 under it's belt then of course it would. Basically it's the rep that blizz has built that allow people to go out on release day (Like I did) and buy a game knowing that it's gonna be good.
I'm interested in Guild Wars, but i have made no moves to purchase it or even download the Beta, simply because it might suck.
Not all of blizzard recite this obvious lie, almost all servers have about 2-3 alliance for each horde player. Check out some of Caydiem's posts in the forums where she talks about how battlegrounds should still be fair in spite of the imbalance in sides. What i'd like to know is why it is so? Don't people like being the bad guy? do they just not like some of the horde char models (I'll admit this annoyed me a bit, the female tauren is damned ugly, female orc not much better)
There are a couple, i think blackrock has more horde. Mostly because it's moderately well known that there are more horde there and other horde players join because of this.
A reality simulator that is exactly like real life would be fun simply because of the fact that there are no moral boundries imposed by it. That's partially what makes the GTA games so fun, there is the element of reality without the boundries.
A game where you live your own life would actually be quite enjoyable because instead of going to work you could steal your neighbour's car and go find some street racing or something.
I'd say the lack or excess of realism is not anything to do with the enjoyment level, it's more the boundries imposed by the game.
Naval warfare with extreme realism would be pretty dull for most people, where as Virtual Orgy with extreme realism might be a bit more enticing.
Why do you believe what blizzard says? get any census mod, go to a server and use it to measure the players for each faction.
I've done this several times on 3-4 different servers (admittedly not a large sample size but that was enough proof of the rumors for me) and every time i've seen the population is heavily in favour of alliance.
I have hear reports that there are a couple of servers that swing the other way though, but apparently they are in the extreme minority, and census sites back this up, for example this one: http://www.warcraftrealms.com/census.php which have more reason to try to be truthful than blizzard does
I have linux on a seldom used partition of my harddisk, simply because installing stuff is too hard. I wanted k3d, installed linux, discovered there wasn't a package for fedora, got pissed, found a 3d app for windows that worked for me and haven't touched linux since. Don't get me wrong, i think apt is a brilliant piece of software, i just would rather a website that actually described what the software was and allowed me to install it instead of making me scour the web followed by scouring the package manager for tre-rh6-smuhv6.23. I guess my major complaint is: Why don't apt-get et al interfaces link to a website describing the release? Why can't websites link into the package manager? Also in this case i don't think dragging out the microsoft attacks is the way to go, (don't get me wrong, hate ms love oss) but dragging a few icons around and not installing spyware is a lot easier than getting something to work on linux that isn't a major package like apache or something.
The thing is, most people who buy games don't know the "movies->Games" thing makes the game suck. I bet the matrix game was one of the highest selling console games of it's time. They could probably make "Virtual turd: The underside of the matrix" and people will still buy it, cause that's the way it works.
Yeah, the people who don't follow the Geneva convention are at a distinct disadvantage. They show themselves to be the good guys, encourage enemy fighters to surrender knowing that they won't be tortured, except possibly when they get sent home. The convention doesn't assume anything except that people shouldn't be treated like shit.
Being live enabled in this case simply means being able to be talked to by your friends over the network, it doesn't necessarily mean that the games must be multiplayer.

Good work, you broke Ausgamers :(

It's possible it could do that, i suppose, but i don't see any way to create such a system. If you can i'd like to hear it.
It's supposed to promote groupthink, how could it be otherwise and actually do anything useful at all?
actually carrying knives and swords has been banned for quite some time, any blade over about 3 inches is considered a "Concealed weapon"

Yes, even if it couldn't be interpreted by the brain directly, it could be interpreted by hardware and translated, say, into different colors.
I preferred the starcraft, the TA units just seemed pretty uninspired, also both sides were pretty much the same. Also i like being a squishy alien.
He's probably got the cash to... erm... splash. Just cause $250 is a lot to you doesn't mean it is to him
Yeah, they're exactly the same. How many ways do you think there are to do a stylised "A"?

That's crap, right now my copy is sitting on 58meg with 8 tabs up. IE with the same amount of windows is on 43 meg
Is it just me or does anyone else get a boner when they read the words "ISO Standard Linux"?
My bullshit detector just exploded.
I'll do it for a slab!
