xbox only works as an extender to your network if you're running all windows 7 machines (probably works on 8, never seen 8 in the wild though). last count i'm running 1 windows 7 box out of about 8 computers. i don't really care to pay for windows to install an OS i don't like just so it's compatible with gaming hardware that might be able to replace $50 bucks worth of raspberry pi equipment.
it's really just a this is geeky cool thing, full minecraft is a massive resource hog and would be pretty much impossible to run on anything this small.
dunno about minecraft but the thing can run quake 3 pretty well so saying it's only useful for 2d gaming is pretty silly. also the other 2 codecs are mpg2 (dvd encoding) and wmv so they're not really that exciting, i've only got a couple of movies encoded in mpg2 and i can't even remember that last time i saw one in wmv.
pretty much, it's cheap as shit to run and mine is basically a torrent box, ssh/media server and i've got one on both of my main tvs as xbmc clients. probably worthwhile to note it has a graphics chip that can decode 1080p video and it can be pretty trivially overclocked to 900mhz without upping the voltage.
4 symbols, about 180k common words in the english language = 1,049,760,000,000,000,000,000 unique passwords. this thing can do 350 billion password attempts a second, and unless my math is wrong (which it most likely is) it would take 95 years to try all of those combinations.
it's 192 dollars and with a dual-core A9 processor at 1.6 GHz, a quad-core MALI 400 GPU and 1 GB of RAM the ouya shits all over it hardware wise, did you think they could add on a screen for free?
is there any real evidence that patents increase innovation? i would have thought that being able to rip someone off and add your own bells and whistles would provide the most useful end product to the end consumer.
yeah as if, i'm sure if i told my boss i was doing this they'd be so keen to keep paying me to do it rather than firing me and doing it themselves whilst keeping 4/5 of my salary.
it's actually from the marilyn manson song "kiddie grinder" but it wouldn't fit in the player name field of quake 2, i'm pretty sure he meant it as he's leading children like monkeys because he's the organ grinder.... heh, i made this account when i was a lot younger:)
i stand corrected
less people would get rich, however it would still be worth a lot to humans as a group.

and i'm sure if you trawl through the sewers you'll find the occasional diamond ring. also you still see AC posts if someone upvotes them.
dude, just change your settings so you don't see the ac trolls

it's about the same, they just don't get they're employer to cover it up for them.
there is no way they'll depend only on that amount of sugar, at the very least they'll pack it full of artificial sweeteners.

despite your sarcasm your pretty much on the money, i like valve and i don't like microsoft. i wonder why that is?
how many games does it need anyway? i only own 10 ps3 games

and the good thing about this one is you can still use it as a computer
consoles generally interfere with someone else's use of the tv though, which is generally more of a big deal in my experience.
they weren't that bad, the quality was fine with 4 cds to the disc
Actually if you managed to read the summary it's a story about handling massive server load dynamically.

sure, no offence meant, however is ignorance really a get out of jail free card here?
no, we want a few thousand reports so a bunch of useless wastes of time can fuck right off.
What requirement, just checked my account on there and i don't even have a real name set.
