eh, i'm not too worried about automation, most jobs don't actually produce tangible results. couple billion extra billion people wasting resources like we do is a little scary tho. i try not to think about it.
it's not racist, it's simply selfishness. there are billions of unemployed people in the world that would do your job for food and a shitty place to stay. if we had to compete in a fair market 90% of currently employed people in "first world" countries would have a massive drop in wage
heh, i was gonna argue with you but i sensed an informed argument and rtfa, i completely agree.
the only thing i would add is if monitors are disconnected/connected probably icons should snap back. icons that did not exist should pick the closest icon that did exist the last time that screen set up was used and try to stay with it (optional of course)
i cancelled my order with rs after they sent me an email saying it would be another 9 weeks after the initial 12 week wait and got 2 through element 14 in 2 days
citation needed, only phones i know the battery life off of the top of my head piss on iphone battery life, for eg the galaxy 3:
Talk Time Up to 10 hours
Standby Time Up to 500 hours
iphone 5:
Talk time: Up to 8 hours on 3G
Standby time: Up to 225 hours
actually ubuntu's distro names are way easier than others, they're on a six month release cycle coming out at the end of april and october so the latest version has to be 12.04. who bothers remembering those stupid code names?
i'm not disagreeing, i'm genuinely interested in the response:
Is sql99 that important? no-one follows database standards so if postgres does doesn't that mean that they're still different to every other database platform out there?
what do you mean moved?
i'm angry at people for believing things

yeah, i'm sure repositioning icons every 30 minutes or so will bring systems to their knees
why not just use X11? if network transparency is so important i'm sure some kind programmers will maintain it.
except my post contains no insults, only facts and references your post (freely available above) as an example
good post: insults, baseless opinion and complete lack of examples. i think you covered everything.
it's no-where near the same thing, i have a ps3 that i occasionally turn on for tekken but it has nothing i would turn it on every day for.
you can already do this, they tried to sell my wife this kind of setup when she bought her Motorola
the nbn would actually make it harder, we're talking storage not throughput
america/england are 50 times closer to a police state to australia, so harry seldon doesn't seem to be kicking many goals
double posting for awesome: why should he take your ignorance into account?
maybe you should learn to english
whatever language you like most is shit (just wanted to try out your awesome argument style)
steep learning curves discourage learning
pretty positive to weed out douchebags early on

they ditched all the ipod control stuff in the lightning interface so it's actually worse than usb now
