i think they were planning on using it so they could get sales people into mysql houses. company buys support for mysql, consultant says they need to upgrade to oracle.
you can buy cheap battery powered external led lights if you won't have one of the newer ones with built in lights. i'm assuming they last a while before they need charging or whatevs because they're led but i've never used one.
if people start linking up their android phones with each other more it will catch on quickly (random guess), they probably need to link it closer to google talk though. i'm reserving judgement for a couple of years.
Uni instruction teaches you shit all about being a good programmer in my experience. data structures don't take 3 years to learn. we've got a guy who's been doing part time uni working on some of our systems, last week he learned how to use constructors. It's August. Note that i said *use* not *write*. Not to mention when he comes back with some bullshit a lecturer seems to have just made up and we have to tell him to just forget it after the exam.
sorry, my point was i would be spending money for no reason, each pc does exactly the same thing as the other, though i do miss the snap window when i'm not on my windows 7 box.
either they just came up with a process to explain why they can't finalize html 5 or they just decided to split the people who are dragging their feet out of the equation.
increasingly i find reddit to have a much higher standard of comments on it than slashdot. on slashdot there's a real theme of "everything sucks, especially if it's new or been posted about more than twice in the last month" on reddit there's almost no hate and depending on which sub-reddits (especially askscience) you are in you can find some really interesting stuff posted.
digg is pretty much dead, youtube isn't even really a comment system, you might as well turn those off and facebook depends entirely on who your friends are so you really have only yourself to blame.
good point, it's an awesome hedge bet on the off chance MS manage to get a working store together and apple will be succeeding in totally replacing steam in the next 5 years in my opinion. Not to mention people keep throwing android at things plugging into TVs and one of those boxes might actually take off. not a bad idea to keep that card up your sleeve for the cost of 3 or 4 developers.

how the fuck to you stick with the ribbon for a month? after a couple weeks i just turned it off and learned keyboard shortcuts
If they don't want to reveal stuff in court, maybe they should stop suing everyone
it's not panic, it's a calculated shot across the bow at microsoft

just wait till you get double natted and see how you feel
heh, if you're that worried about it just nat your network
i have this high tech piece of software on my pc called notepad...
what for? i have 3 pcs, i'm not buying 3 new copies of windows every 3 years
where exactly are you pulling these bullshit numbers from?
they figured out a way to draw on retinas with lasers years ago, wonder why that never caught on.
it's true, and i'm not even sorry
you should worry about everything microsoft does, sooner or later they'll do something mean that actually succeeds

sure, they have the right to suck, however it doesn't mean they don't suck.
meh, i'm getting modded down for having an opinion someone doesn't like
