    or you could just use mozilla, go to about:config and set
    browser.block.target_new_window
    to true to suppress any target= parameter
    or you can set
    browser.tabs.opentabfor.windowopen
    to true to always open new targets in new tabs.

    Well, that's the whole point of having sentient mechas (called Tachikoma in this case) in Anime:
    They just have to be either cute and heavily armed, or bulky and heavily armed.

    Personally, I'd just love to have a Tachikoma (even only as a model) but the models are so expensive here in Bavaria >_

    I don't think you have to do this on purpose.
    There are enough people out there who misspell domainnames several times a day.

    But, isn't this convenient? In essence, they DDoS'ed themselves :D

    The clothes seem to be small enough to completely fit into any microwave these days.

    Dammit... I have all that code in my brain, and now I have to type away hours on the keyboard to put it into my 'puter.

    I really hoped that this feeling would finally be able to subside...

    isn't what is used to be.
    Here in Germany you can get a 128kBit up / 768 kBit down async line. The best a normal household can aford is 192 kBit up / 1536 kBit down async.
    The problem is that as bandwidth goes up, quality of the net goes down.
    I heard people saying: "Why should I not place these 2MB images on my website? It's downloaded with my DSL line in seconds."
    And don't even try to tell these people what a thumbnail is.

    It's just one example but you can find more of these. People sending 15 MB .swf files via E-Mail to 20 different friends and the like.

    SQL Slammer won't have had the effect of broadband coming to every home.

    And that's exactly where the problem starts.
    The last few days, I really _listened_ to what was played on radio. Not WHO was played but WHAT. What kind of music, and I must say, it's depressing.
    Really, songs like "From Sarah with love" (okay, that's not recent, but it fits the category), or Robin Gimps latest (sorry, forgot the title) are just telling us about lost love. And that's not something one wants to hear about in times of approaching war and the current state of economy.
    People want to LAUGH again, and there is only _ONE_ song here on the radio that can be put in that category: Busted - Year 3000.

    It' depressing, really...

    Higher fees will only make it easier for mega-companys with a break-even somewhere around March to patent something.

    Mr. Smith from down the street who did some really patent-worthy work will be in trouble if the fees are rising.
