You're an idiot. If you write a piece of software that does X, people have the choice ot use X, Y, Z, whatever. It doesn't matter if it's the default. Nutscrape (and hell, even AOL) was around ebfore IE was worth crap...Lots of people heard about them, etc. Back then, people could have chosen to use Nutscrape.

It didn't halt the progress of the web. If it did, that means other people LET IT. So, in the end, since YOU LET IT, I blame you, retard.

Yes, because the Law of the Land says you may transfer a licence -- and rights given to you by the Law of the Land cannot be denied to you by entering into a contract.

Except you CAN enter into an agreement with a private entity and give up your unalienable rights by your own choice, as dictated by the agreement and then be held liable for breaking that agreement.

If I enter into an agreement with you agreeing never to curse at you, or X will happen (thus, giving up a portion of my right to free speech in this particular, specific instance), if I curse at you, you can then sue me for breech of contract.

But wait. I guess this isn't happening...Most of these affluent people they are talking about just use their computers for basic stuff....

And to the comment about Apple taking over any market they entered...Is this person even real? Apple, as a computer company, was gone long ago. Sure, they are still there - propped up by the iPod and iTunes Music Store. I'm noping the class-action suits beat them and force them to open up to other players...After all, that's what they would try and do to MS. But Apple could get rid of their computers lock, stock, and barrel right now, and still be just as successful as they are, right now.

But the company is too STUPID to realize that if they were to sell OS/X for Intel on the shelf next to Windows XP/Vista, they would make a good amount of money....But well, it's Apple...They lucked into iTunes and the iPod....just like the sun shines on a dog's ass every once in a while. Beyond those 2 things - they are pretty much dead weight in the computer industry.
