    I've been wondering...

    Mars is rich in iron oxide.

    Venus is rich in sulphuric acid.

    What do you get if you mix the two?

    (ie; maybe if we took some atmosphere from Venus to Mars and some soil from Mard to Venus, interesting chemical reactions could take place! Useful reactions?)

    These things are being pursued more and more vigorously these days. *No* silly, not the Nausicaan aliens from the planet Nausicaa from Star Trek, they are too ugly...
    I mean the rights to the name 'Nausicaa'. I wouldn't mind betting its copyright or trademark or some such rubbish.

    I've been wondering how big a wingspan would be required to support a person while flying wing-in-ground effect, gliding downhill.

    Or something like that.

    A kind of very low altitude glider but I'm thinking it would only need a short wingspan?

    No engine.

    (The thing in the article seems to be described variously as a glider and as having a jet engine. Am I missing something here?)

    Such gems as;
    "jahL0pho", "ko8jahNg" or "Phab3vah" are virtually guaranteed to not have lawsuits demanding that you change them!

    Yeah, I do.

    Photoshop has many reports of small rotations causing the currency to be scanned. I dunno about the printing though.

    (I havn't tested it, so this could all be rubbish)

    Especially if they 'enhance' the current method.

    As I understand it, there is a pattern of circles on the currency, and the software checks for this.

    If the bill is scanned or printed slightly offset from straight up and down (I've heard that just 1 degree can do the trick) then the pattern matching doesn't work and the bill is scanned/printed.

    For them to fix this, they would need to check each increment of rotation for those circles.

    I can see that taking quite some time...
