Correct me if I'm wrong, but I guess 200-400$ aren't that little for a poor Indian. Apart from that fact that I have to wonder whatfor people living in some fuckin slum need a computer!
While of course it is not good practice to rely on a single method to secure one's network and then dream about it beeing "unhackable", security by obscurity might be part of a good security concept.
That's common in many countries all around the world. As long as you aren't a citizien it is rather hard to get a job - not just because of possible prejudices but also simply because you are not allowed to!
Thank you all (Dun Malg, InterruptDescriptorT and AKnightCowboy) for your replies. While I want to add that my post was written a bit exaggerated and perhaps also provocative you have given me some interesting points and insights I haven't thought about before as well!
Perhaps the old-timers don't want their hobby to grow (for example to grow like the internet grew!) Perhaps they want to keep it like it is - rather clean, a bit of the elite-touch.
And for this to continue there have to be some off-putting requirements. If you want to transmit radio waves without learning anything one should choose citizien band.
(Apart from the fact that morse code is still one of the most reliable kinds to communicate world wide even under worst conditions)
While the US legal system appears impotent in the face of this slandering and despicable business tactic, Germany is obviously prepared for this nonsense.
Sorry to say that but that's because Germany - and most other European countries as well - don't have such a twisted view on "freedom of speech".
The company estimates at least 3.6 million bogus copies of its programs are sold annually, causing headaches both for Symantec and unsuspecting buyers, who find out too late that the software isn't doing the job.
Well, when the customer tries to register the (bogus) product he probably bought it already. So it's too late as well, isn't it?
Now that's interesting. I'd prefer it if they (whoever they are) returned a submitted story with comments on what they didn't like about it instead of editing it (ok, except typing mistakes maybe). I just don't like the idea of really editing things but still telling people it is written by abcdef.
Cheers..
zoovert.org is still available, as well as suvert.org and zuwert.org:-)

..something illegal to begin with, and HavenCo won't host you.
As you can read in the Acceptable Use Policy on HavenCo's website they will host everything not forbidden by Sealand's law - that is just child pornography.
So you could host copyrighted and pirated videos, plans on how to make the newest mobile nuclear bomb and things like that.
Oh, I am sorry. I just noticed I have replied to the wrong posting. Sorry.
Actually I am interested in this using a device that modulates the signal onto the aerial cable rather than broadcasting (see also #6587992)
Thanks anyway for your answer;-)
Well, in my opinion (most) music cassette players have an even worse quality than good FM radio - that's why I am interested in this
Still no comparison to Opera's MDI windows in conjunction with its mouse gestures. Tabbed browsing in crap compared to real MDI windows. (And please don't tell me they are MDI windows now - we had this discussion already:-)

Link to a patch.

Jay Beale (from Bastille Linux) wrote a nice article about security through obscurity a while ago.

Otherwise, good review! Thank you!

Read the fucking story. :-)
HTH!
Rating: 9.9 - Cannot find a fault. Uhm. Now please tell me - why not 10 then?
First off it's stupid to base any "analysis" on just 5 items. That's plain stupid.
Second - who said is better? Yea, the prole said it. Nobody else.
Thank you for your answer. Cheers.

Do you have any more information on how to do this exactly?
Thank you in advance!
