How much easier would it be to convince people to switch from Windows if they could run all their software on a different OS?

I believe ReactOS is about as compatible as Wine. Some people may be satisfied with similar software but the majority seem to want the software they already have to just work on a system they're comfortable working with. If ReactOS is another step in making that happen, I say good on them.

Way to miss the point, AC. Art is a form of expression with the intention to create an emotional response. That could be a picture of a building, a family portrait my kid drew, or even an object used in a way that differs from its intended purpose, such as making a statement.

I'm a strong believer in the Peter Principle, that "in a hierarchy every employee tends to rise to his level of incompetence". If that person wants the whole company and you believe they can pull it off then by all means, let them have it, but never just give someone the reins because you think they can do it.

Just out of curiosity, what prevents spammers from +1ing a coherent set of sites plus the one(s) they're trying to push? For example, what if you have a spambot advertising dating sites that also +1s a bunch of tech sites (i.e. Slashdot)? Wouldn't that effectively create targeted advertising?
