  1. Anyone ever talk to Ansel Adams? on Would Ansel Adams Have Gone Digital? · · Score: 1
Didn't Ansel Adams lug around an 8x10 glass plate camera in Yosemite? His zone system required a lot of thought and effort on each photo (you almost have to develope the negatives one at a time). Not sure the convenence/speed of use factor would have been that important to him.

I never meet the man, or anyone who did, so it is really hard to say if he would have gone digital.

We are forming a tech socity and there will be a hierarchy in it. The nature of our communications and sharing of resources may produce something new, as far as governance goes. I hope to live long enough to see what comes of all this.

Humm... I like this conspiracy angle much better. Valve knows they can not meet their December dead line. 'Yikes', they says, 'if we slip again our stock will really take a hit'. So they fake a break in, claim some code and art was stolen and that now they have to slip four months. Trouble is the stock takes a hit anyway. This theory has merit because: 1) Why slip the release? Makes no sense, just ship it anyway. 2) I am up to post 50 or 60 in this /. article and there has not been a link to the code/game yet.
