    It sort of is. Have you noticed that most people don't even know what GNU/Linux is, let alone have ever run Debian? It's on less than 1% of desktops. For the consumer market, there are 2 options. Mac and Windows. In the common venacular, PC means Windows, Mac means OSX. Linux is a non-starter for most of the population.

    The exact same argument can be used for alchol intoxication. When I got my DUI, I blew a .227, (almost 3 times the legal limit). I could pass the field sobriety test no problem, but since there was a "faint odor of alcohol", I was taken downtown to blow in the breathalyzer. Should I be allowed to go unimpeded, simply because I can "hold my liquor"?

  25. Make the "Maximum Wage" $20,000 a year, with 100% tax rate on any earnings above and beyond that. If I can live on it, and support a family of 3, you can too. Just because you work more doesn't mean you deserve more money.
