  1. Unauthorized works for usb to my computer on Apple Starts Blocking Unauthorized Lightning Cables With iOS 7 · · Score: 1

Unauthorized works for usb to my computer. I have not tried it charging. I have a mac cable (that came with my ipad) for charging and a cheap cable to hook up usb.

I remember a little while ago someone managed to electrocute themselves with an unauthorized cable/charger on an iphone. That may have played into them doing this with IOS7.

I worked as a traffic accident investigator for a few years. Part of my job was figuring out the timing of traffic lights and if they were the cause of an accident. Shortening yellow lights kills people, old people and big trucks dont stop very fast. This is the Florida government killing people for money.

The really sad part is if they were really clever they would shorten the yellow 1/2 a second but keep the whole intersection red for a 1/2 a second. That way they could rip off Floridians without killing them.

I have a reprap on my desk. Last week I printed an adaptor for a new ssd harddrive and and couple of mike clips. I use it all the time. Cost me ~$500 to build and about a weeks tinkering to get it right. I could get one tweeked in a day or less now.

I dont recommend buying a built one as they are still at the model "T" stage and require a lot of tinkering to get them going. If you build it all the tinkering will make sense.

In the video they have a original mendel.

If you are starting out I recommend a Prusa Mendel, cheaper and better.

Yes you can... removing your muffler is totally legal. You are are only breaking the law when you drive it on public roads. You can take it to a race track and drive it all you want.

If someone converts a Tivo into a hacking device AND uses it to break into computer networks, that would be illegal. You could also break the law by hitting someone over the head with your Tivo, no modifcations required.

Cracking and modding your Tivo is, and should remain, totally legal.

You can't defend yourself from an automatic camera. The equipment can be "out of calabration" when it takes a picture of you and recalabrated before you can prove it was ever out. Same with the traffic light.

    Think about it.
An officer or a serviceman checks the calabration
and finds it bad. He then:

    A. Marks it "out of calibration" and calls the proper people to make sure all tickets created
sense the last check are made void and people who have aready paid are properly refunded.

    B. Recalabrates the machine (or light) and marks it as being ok.
