    again, what? there has never been a 2,000lb caddy. ever. 4,500 is closer to accurate, i would guess. perhaps you meant 2 ton and typed it in lbs and tons? i do stupid stuff like that...

    no chance in hell. i own four cars, a 375hp 74 nova i built, 289(!) 63 galaxie just got for my wife, an 83 bmw that was our former daily, and our new daily, a 93 eclipse. the nova is crazy dangerous on snow, the galaxie is heavy, yes, but rwd is aweful on slick surfaces. the bimmer is okay, but again, rwd. the eclipse is so safe on slick stuff (granted, would be better with awd or studded tires) that i can afford to play around on it. your only hope in a slide with rwd is to let off the gas and try to steer it back under control. in my fwd, i have the power to hit the gas to bring the front end back in front.

    id like to hope those were all typos, because i really dont like ripping on gearheads (ignorant "geeks", thats another story), but im having trouble believing it...
