I'm a college student in Boston who is interested in attending different speakers at different schools. Unfortunately, I never hear about the speakers until it's reported in the Globe. Is there an index or calendar of all the upcoming events at local colleges?
PS: Are most lectures easy to sneak into? At Northeastern University know one checks ID and the doors aren't locked.
My school splits computer science into two years. I took the first year last year and was interested in the subject, but because of scheduling conflicts I could not complete my second year until next year. Does anyone have any studying tips for the AP exam to help me remember what I forgot over the year?
You forget how much money The Simpsons takes in. The Simpsons is the show that put Fox on the map. The biggest reason why the show is a sucsess is because of the dialog. I DO think the actors are worth 360,000 to Fox.
Would you wrather have a good PDA that played games or a Gameboy that did PDA functions. I would want the PDA just because of the style even though the Gameboy would be cheaper.
Why the hell is AOL going around whoring the fact that there customers get the most spam. You might have blocked a 1/2 trillion but another trillion has gotten through.
IMHO iTunes is not noteworth without the soon to be released iPod Jr. Although sales are good now, internet music sales will eventually stabilize. For any form of new media to be successful in becoming the major format for music it has to be as easily obtained in stores or on the internet like cd's. The new format mush also have affordable portable players for the masses(The original iPod is NOT for the masses). Supply for home stereo players are not as important as they were for cd's because the PC has become the most commonly used stereos in the house.

Our class left off at advanced math problems being solved by recursion (the Towers of Hanoi problem sticks out in my head.) What would be a good book to review what we learned this year and be prepared for my second year of the class?"

You could make a chess like came using a fps engine I'm not sure how exciting it would be but I would play a few rounds. The hard part would be scripting the AI.

I think you read that in his book "Just for Fun" but I bet he could have changed the distro since then.

Its easier to ignore the quality of a product 5 or more years old compared to a product you just put $150 down on.
