Can you really claim to be on the internet when constitutionally protected speech can and will get you banned from facebook, twitter, youtube, itunes, paypal, uber, lyft, airbnb, netflix, patreon, all of the app stores, etc?
If you didn't read the news, you wouldn't know there is a federal shutdown.
There is literally no impact on regular Americans outside of DC.
As long as the taxes are removed from my paycheck, the government is not shut down.

Google has become a company whose denials have to be read with the same skepticism given to a lawyer/politician's statement. The dynamic range of human eyes is much greater than a camera. It was not pitch black outside to a human. I have lived in Tempe and the ambient light of the city would be enough for at least minimal night vision to apply. This is the reason why you drive in a darkened vehicle without your dome lights at night, for your night vision to be effective. Texting on your phone in a part of town where there are a lot of people roaming the streets (such as south Scottsdale Rd) is simply a negligent thing to do.
When so many on the left refer to anyone who disagrees with them as a Nazi the term has becoming meaningless. Maybe calling anyone with an R next to their name a nazi is a joke. I really don't know. It certainly won't end well at the polls when regular people vote for a 'correction' like they did in 2016, Brexit, and most recently Italy.

I'm pretty sure unless someone's path to the presidency was being a telecom attorney, no president will have explicit understanding of Net Neutrality rules.
The same goes with any clean water act, international treaty, etc. The President appoints someone who already works in that sphere and lets them continue on.
Heck, even construction of Trump's signature proposal, the border wall, hasn't gotten past the prototype stage. If Trump knows anything, it's how construction works.
The FCC was looking for meaningful comments. Taking somebody else's form letter and attaching "me too" to the end will always go straight to the trash. It doesn't matter which side your form letter takes.
If the bots can push a fake app up to 4 stars to obfuscate the 1 star reviews, they can just as easily flood the app with "Best Evah" moderations in the scheme you propose.

You tax the provider (Apple, Whatsapp, Facebook Messenger, the wireless companies, etc) and the provider passes the charge through to you.

Netflix teaming up with Obama is an easy way to alienate half of America.
I was talking with a few guys at the office with high school aged kids. They said youtube has replaced tv/movie/netflix programming in their houses.
Combine that with an ever shrinking library of content and the decline of Netflix is easy to predict.
Two tricks come to mind:
1) Pay your bills.
2) Don't take loans on things you can't afford.
