Close, but that's not exactly correct. 92% to 98% payout is per play. For example: If I play $1 then I'm likeky to win $0.98 back in the long run. So you could look at it as giving the casino $0.02 for every spin of the wheel. So, the more you play the better chance you have of loosing.
I think this depends on whom you are talking to (and how fast you can type:)). Sometimes strong accents and other distractions like bad signals on a cell phone can make the conversation slow and painful, vs. with IM, you are the one reading at your own pace.
I find that using email makes me more efficient by allowing me to have multiple conversations at once, as well as see the history of the conversation in all of the replies.
Ok, I didn't realize that the Mars Express is going to stay in orbit. Question for you then, how would we be able to create a reliable connection with Mars if in the future it is colonized?
I did read the article. Now, I may not have understood it correctly though.
ESA already has a number of ground stations around the world capable of contacting spacecraft that are relatively close to Earth. But the new antenna will provide a link to spacecraft up to 900 million kilometres away, well past the orbit of Jupiter. This capability will be crucial for keeping in touch with a number of planned European missions into deep space.
So my question was, if we were to put a satellite that would orbit Mars, we would now have a way to communicate with it. Also, if said satellite is able to gather surface, atmosphere, weather data, etc. it would aid us in exploration and possible colonization of Mars. Also, it could provide as a repeater to probes further out than this antenna on earth could reach. Maybe I'm just reading too much into this...
I wonder if this could be used to communicate with a satellite that would orbit Mars. It would make it easier to send research data back, and perhaps send another probe.
Agreed.
It's bad enough now that you can go to the grocery store and not even have to hand the cashier your card anymore to pay for groceries. What ever happed to signature verification? I'm signing all of my receipts "Bart Simpson" from now on...
You must have flown America West. I fly Continental regularly and usually get up graded to first class. However I have noticed that the quality of food has gone down quite a bit since 9/11. They even stopped carrying some of the more expensive liquors such as Crown Royal! And, WTF is with the plastic butter knife? I think I could do more damage with the metal fork or break one of the glasses they still give you.
This site has what appears to be a very good concept for putting people into space and could further the development of technologies required for a long term space stay. Plus it would be cool to stay at a hotel in space!:)
Just make sure the HOWTO gets submitted before 10/31
...ridicule?
You've come to the right place.

I have made several DVD+RW and DVD+R discs that play fine in my PS2. I can ever erase the DVD+RW and copy a new game to it.
Somewhere a butterfly flaps it's wings in the Amazon.... ;)
Where are the flying cars? I want my flying cars!!!
Still trying to decide if this is +1 Funny or +1 Insightful.....hmmm...
Can I get an Amen mod over here?

Is this an upgrade so ET can phone home?

But who keeps the database of the eyes?

Link would help ;)

Why not just use AppleScript? :)
