    The US Administration's repeated public insistance on using voting machines designed and marketed by their supporters does mean that the USA cannot hold elections properly. Perhaps it's just that currently they refuse to, though. Hopefully it's not permanent.

    As much as you might like it to be, this is NOT flamebait. It's not exactly a well-informed opinion (nor is this) about "your daughter", but the idea that women are just as sexual as men and that it's possible that the last bit of the story was just as consensual as the beginning, well, it's POSSIBLE.

    I did read a lot of "we forbid" where I was expecting "she didn't want" in the original post.
    It's possible.

    Every time you get a misdirected voice fax, hang up, do your local key combo for call return (often *69), and leave it connected. Then call again and again.

    They do a tiny DOS attack on you, you do it right back.

    The benefit would be that when you're in class, you can focus on paying attention rather than typing a transcript. You can do the notes thing when listening, and then go through that.


    What the teacher really wanted was eye contact. You can do that while typing, but you have to practice.

    It sounds like maybe your mouse could be part of the problem.. also you can slow down scrolling settings in the Appearance tab in prefs.

    - Have it NOT shut off and drop all calls just after you plug it in when the battery is low.
    - The phone could stay on until you turn it off, instead of just turning off randomly throughout the day.
    - It could use a low battery warning that does not double the rate of battery drain while the warning is going off.
