    Well, AIDS _is_ treatable. A few cancer types are. Still a good trade. However, "regular" AIDS (the kind that kill people) won't help you fight cancer.

    for me, I never found a tool like mysql query browser for postgresql. I'd rather use a db with some kind of UI tool to deal with than use it directly on console all the time. and that's why I go with mysql.

    Then it may read barcodes. My company is stuck on ex-symbol, now-motorola MC50 and alikes, overpriced and underperforming for today's standards. We're seeking an alternative for them, but barcode reading on iPad and such devices are clumsy, not suitable for production. Hope that full-size USB can power devices.

    I would be happy with augmented knowledge about my surroundings; like, beside my GPS, a radar with surrounding cars and pedestrians, with their speed and whether there's risk of collision; the route tracking would then include tips of when to change lanes. I would love* to know how is the climate on my route before leaving my house.

    A robot driving a car will surely need all this data and much more.

    Furthermore the FBI is not under the jurisdiction of the Brazilian government.

    The original article doesn't even cite the FBI. The * Brazilian * Federal Police can't decrypt Daniel Danta's harddisk. Somebody should get the portuguese class money back =)

    The first time I installed linux in my life, it was a 8mb 486 66MHz ( I even managed to install it in a 4mb 386 sx 25MHz - but no X as it got a CGA card) However, it took forever to run mozilla... or it was the 14,400 bps modem? =)
