No, you are right as I see it. I wonder who the genius was who came up with this idea? I mean damn, this is just too intrusive, not to mention a wide margin for error. If these servers can be pinged, it means they are online, which in turn means it is possible for someone to play a 'joke' or what-not and kill a lot of birds with one stone. Bad idea all around as far as I am concerned.
Damn skippy. I agree totally with what you are saying. Cheats in single player mode is a good way to learn the maps and practice different strategy, but online cheating is just LAME.
I wonder if a GPS would be a conceivable solution? Maybe you could drive the course yourself and map the course out with gps coordinates then use your calculations to program the vehicle to follow the same route you took. Would probably cost more than a mil to do this effectively, though. just a thought...
I wonder if that cheat works on this new contra... what was it? up, up, down, down, left, right, b, a, start, or something like that. I'm not sure, but I used to really dig contra.
Counter strike would suck without a keyboard/mouse. But I see your point and I don't upgrade as often as most of the gamers I know. I usually wait a couple years before building a new machine. I also game on a console and I think some games are more playable with a gamepad, whether console or pc. But, to each his own I guess.
My friends and I used to make these quite frequently in high school. It is really quite fun to launch a potato over the autoshop building at high velociities[for a potato]
4 inch pvc combustion chamber with a 1.5 inch barrel seems to make the most distance. And if you shoot one through 1/4 inch screen mesh it makes good french fries.
Hi Kevin, I was wondering if you plan to investigate echolink. I read somewhere that your amateur radio license was reinstated and would like to know what you think about the integration of ham radio/computers in the past 8 years.
I have only one windows box (which I'm on right now because I haven't yet been able to get linux working on my DSL connection). The only reasons I keep windoze around is for gaming, DSL, and the fact that all of my computer science classes are taught on windows. I wish my college also had linux/unix courses availible or at least incorporate 'nix into the curriculum.I am pretty new to linux, and it rocks. It is all so new and strange when you are used to windows, and I was getting bored with trying to tweak windows.I think I am the only one in my town who has even heard of linux(thanks to/.) everyone I have talked to thinks it's dos until I startx then they wonder what version of windows i've got.

Yaegermeister and knoppix.

Yeah, there was a sequel, but it wasn't nearly as good as the first (most aren't)
This movie is so simple, yet so funny for some reason.
it's cool, I've done it before too, so no harm done. Anyway, I just skimmed over the red tape so I guess I jumped the gun on this one.

LOL :)
just kidding... don't resort to violence
I am not really into japanimation. The eyes are weird looking.

ask yourself this: "Do pencils cause misspelled words?" apply the answer to the above question to answer the next question "Do guns cause crime?"
